Watch: Bringing Down a Neshamah from the World of Truth and How It Relates to Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l? Miracles of the Righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a
It wasn't simple, but we finally managed to catch Rabbi Mordechai Deri and engage him in a profound conversation about the turbulent events he experienced on his journey from Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l to our teacher, the righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The story is fascinating, no need to elaborate.

"I was connected to Rabbi Yoram Abergel zt"l and would consult with him on various matters. One day, I joined a friend who went to Rav Berland shlit"a from Kfar Saba to Jerusalem for a redemption. The friend told Rav Berland shlit"a that his sister had passed away, the Rav shlit"a was shocked, covered his face with his tallit, and said that now he is bringing her neshamah into the room. Suddenly, we began to feel pressure in the room, a feeling I had never experienced before. The Rav shlit"a asked him if he wanted to speak with her, and he, overwhelmed, refused." "'Thanks to your redemption, I am placing her in a good place and elevating her to Gan Eden,' added the Rav shlit"a. 'You have nothing more to worry about for her.' Suddenly, the Rav began talking to him about his leg pain and told him to come to the yeshiva and dance there on Simchat Torah. 'What leg pain?' my friend wondered, as he had been healthy until then and felt no pain, and why was the Rav shlit"a talking about it?" "'Where do you live?' the Rav shlit"a turned to me with a question. In Kfar Saba, I answered, surprised by his addressing me, as I was just accompanying. 'You are moving to Jerusalem and not raising the children in Kfar Saba,' the Rav shlit"a decreed firmly, banging on the table strongly. I did not understand how the Rav shlit"a even knew that I was married and had children, as it was the first time I saw him." "Meanwhile, that friend did not come to dance on Simchat Torah, and later he was struck by severe leg pain. In hindsight, he understood what the Rav shlit"a meant, the Rav could have sweetened it for him with dancing." "The meeting with Rav Berland shlit"a was on Wednesday, and on Friday, as usual, I went to Rabbi Yoram zt"l's lesson. After the lesson, I spoke with Rabbi Yoram when suddenly he turned to me and told me I need to move to Jerusalem. 'What..?' my surprise only grew. 'Why?' I asked. You were with a true tzaddik of the generation whom I love with all my soul. In hindsight, the connection and great love that existed between these tzaddikim became clear to me. Rabbi Yoram zt"l told me himself that two hours he learned with the Rav shlit"a were worth dozens and hundreds of hours of learning." "It was hard for me to accept the decree, each time I came to Rabbi Yoram with another suggestion for a place to live. 'Maybe Tzfat? Maybe Yavne'el?' I tried to evade the decree. Finally, a thought struck me, and I suggested: 'Rabbi Yoram, maybe I will move to you in Netivot?'" "'You can live wherever you want, but you will not have rectification. Rav Berland decreed on you in heaven to live in Jerusalem.' Baruch Hashem, we finally moved, and for eight years now, I have been a regular member of the Rav shlit"a's yeshiva. Life in Jerusalem under the shadow of the Rav shlit"a is beyond nature; we live in miracles." "During a bus ride, a man approached me who heard about my story and wanted me to strengthen his friend. It turned out that these two were also with the Rav shlit"a, who told them as well to move to Jerusalem. One of them submitted to the words of the tzaddik and moved, while the other did not. One day, they went to receive a blessing from a hidden tzaddik in Hod Hasharon with the intention for their children and their Torah studies. But no, to their surprise, the hidden tzaddik told them that the friend needs to move to Jerusalem because Rav Berland shlit"a decreed on them in heaven." "Why specifically the Rav shlit"a? Now more than ever, it is evident that with all the difficulties the Rav shlit"a goes through, he does not speak or worry about himself, but only Torah, strengthening, and concern for all of Israel. The fire and light received here in Jerusalem cannot be obtained anywhere else. This is the Moses of our generation. If Rabbi Yoram Abergel, who feared nothing, and once during a brit milah raised the knife and said that anyone who looks at the knife, he takes away all their blemishes of the covenant. That same Rabbi Yoram zt"l, who did not give titles to just anyone, told me that Rav Berland shlit"a is a true tzaddik of the generation. True tzaddikim like Rabbi Yoram zt"l know who the true tzaddik is." "I have a friend connected to Rabbi Yitzchaki from Porat. Not long ago, someone began to provoke against our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, near him. Rabbi Yitzchaki turned to him and said: 'You dare speak against a tzaddik to whom all the Tikkun HaKlali recited at the holy site in Uman and all the closeness and strengthening through Rebbe Nachman in this generation belong? He is the only one who can enter the mouth of the Sitra Achra and play there. You dare speak against him?! When I approached Rabbi Yitzchaki from Porat myself, he told me: 'Do not worry, the Rav shlit"a controls everything, may it all end with a great Kiddush Hashem."
Amen.
