Watch: The 9th of Tammuz is the Day the Wall of Jerusalem was Breached - The Righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a at a Home Gathering in Petah Tikva - Photo Gallery

On Thursday night, the eve of Parshat Chukat, the righteous Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a arrived at a home gathering on Yonah Green Street in Petah Tikva. The Rav delivered a lesson there, here are some of his words. "Every person comes into the world to rectify the sin of the fig that occurred on the 9th of Tammuz, the 9th of Tammuz, the eve of Parshat Chukat. The 9th of Tammuz is the greatest day of the year. The 9th of Tammuz is the day the wall of Jerusalem was breached. People do not know that the 9th of Tammuz is a fast day, a day of weeping, a day of sighing and groaning, as it is written in Kings (Chapter 25).
