The Pilgrimage Gathering to the Western Wall – Shavuos 5783

Our teacher, the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, set out from his home—his holy abode—at 3:30 to the remnant of our Beis HaMikdash, accompanied by a great multitude, in the splendor of the King. As is known, the festival of Shavuos is celebrated for one day, yet the pilgrimage continues for a full week, as the Rambam writes (Hilchos Chagigah 1:7): “One who did not bring the festival offering on the day of Shavuos may bring it for all seven days; and he has compensation for all six days following Shavuos.”
