“Suddenly, after two years in which he hadn’t shown up at the yeshivah, the young man unexpectedly returned and told an astonishing story. In hindsight, it turned out that I had been police bait in order to derail the deal and catch the criminals. Because of my interrogation, the police reached the criminals—but in truth, they reached far more than that. The deal, of course, did not go through, but the investigation that began with me continued and branched out; from those criminals, the police continued on and reached murderous terrorists—40 terrorists with plans for attacks in Israel. Then it also became clear why the Rav shlit"a did not answer him immediately: because after he asked that bizarre question, the Rav shlit"a ascended to the place he ascended to and understood that, on the one hand, the arrest the young man would go through would bring him back to the right path. Even more than that: through the young man’s arrest, terrible attacks in Israel and great loss of life would be prevented.”

“The young man sat in prison because of the shady deal itself—after all, the police do not know what the Rav shlit"a knows. But the young man himself confessed and said that he knows that, thanks to his arrest, many attacks were prevented. From this we understand that the Rav shlit"a sometimes answers in ways that, at that moment, we cannot comprehend. There are many more examples like this. We may see one move ahead; the Rav shlit"a sees at least a thousand moves. He sees that, although a person may seemingly be headed for a loss in the near term because of what he will go through, he also sees that in the end there will be a downfall for the forces of tumah that have a hold on him—and that only in this way will that person ultimately be able to get out of the entanglement.”

“Someone who does not know the Rav shlit"a and his holy, hidden way of leadership cannot speak and cannot express an opinion. We do not have the tools to understand every move the Rav shlit"a makes.” Up to this point, Rabbi Salma offered an introduction and clarification about the Rav shlit"a’s lofty spiritual perception and exalted conduct. “All the time, rumors keep popping up about the Rav shlit"a. But I remember very well that the Rav shlit"a told one of his veteran students that he does not want to return to that same place where he was before the escape. This refers to that Chanukah when the Rav shlit"a actually broke through the confinement in which he had been imprisoned, and then he confessed and revealed that his entire life he had, in truth, been inside a prison. The Rav shlit"a said that the whole matter is complicated on extremely high levels, and only he can deal with it and stand against these maneuvers—through winding paths and by means of “games” that will never be understood. “The moment I return to being under the hands I was under before—if I say things that are the opposite of what I’m saying now, don’t listen to me.”

“Tzvika Zucker and Yom Tov Chashin—the ‘great tzaddikim’—brought the Rav shlit"a back into that same state of capture he had been in before, and they supposedly came to make shalom bayis in the Rav’s home. In truth, the two of them sat there and, with disgraceful behavior, recorded material against the Rav shlit"a, which they repeatedly hurl anew against the Rav and his students. For at that time, the Rav—in his holy self-nullification to Hashem’s leadership of the world—nodded in agreement to all the nonsense they poured out against him, and he tried to calm the person in front of him.”

“A reporter from Hadashot Israel who recorded the Rav shlit"a back when he was in Morocco revealed that the investigating officer who handled the Rav’s case said it became clear that all the complaints against the Rav were lies and falsehood. That officer even went to Rabbi Shalom Arush shlit"a and confessed that ever since he tried to fabricate a case against the Rav shlit"a, disasters have struck him one after another: he got divorced, he had an accident, and so on. The Rav shlit"a told him there is no forgiveness for him until he publicizes the story. But the moment the Rav shlit"a returned to Eretz Yisrael, in a very puzzling way, that officer left the country abroad. What suddenly happened?!”

“I am saying these things because many more recordings are expected. For 12 years, the Rav shlit"a has been documented on video—every step of the way. ‘They are wise to do evil’—and their intention is to create brainwashing against the Rav and not allow the bonfire of wickedness against the Tzaddik to die down.” Our holy master, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, is fighting against forces that long before him others did not dare to enter into war against—the serpent’s forehead, the crown of the kelipah. What we see with our eyes is not even the edge of the wickedness the Tzaddik is confronting.
