"We Nullified the Decree" – The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, Melaveh Malkah Vayerah

After the Sabbath prayers, the holy service with songs and words of Torah in great spiritual awakening, in the presence of our teacher, the holy Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), the time for Melaveh Malkah (the meal following the Sabbath) arrived. Then, the Rav shlit"a continued to speak about the security situation prevailing in the Land, following his words regarding the War of Gog and Magog, while revealing—the decree has been sweetened. These are his holy words.
"Today is Chayei Sarah (the life of Sarah), not the death of Sarah; Sarah lives forever, the tzaddik (righteous person) lives forever."
"One tzaddik can sweeten all the decrees in the world. The Midrash Rabbah says that now, one tzaddik is enough. After we received the Torah, after we have Rebbe Nachman, one tzaddik can sweeten all the decrees."
"Now, Gog and Magog has already occurred; the missiles already reached Highway 1. I said that one needs to travel to Tel Aviv via Haifa. But they nullified the decree; we finished it. There was a decree, but they said the Tikkun HaKlali (the General Rectification), they said Shacharis (the morning prayer)."
"The Shacharis prayer nullifies all decrees. Shacharis, Mincha (the afternoon prayer), Maariv (the evening prayer)—praying in 'Shuvu' (the Shuvu Banim yeshiva) sweetens all the decrees in the world. There is nothing that it does not sweeten. On Thursday, we started praying at 12:00; we hope we will start earlier, now it will be at seven. At a quarter to five, there will be the Mincha prayer, and after that, there will be two hours to study Likutey Halachos (the collected laws of Reb Noson) and the Gemara (Talmud) in Tractate Niddah."
