What Does the President of Harvard Think and Why Does the War Continue? • The Daily Lesson from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the full daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) on Wednesday, Parshas Va'era, the night of the 1st of Shevat - Rosh Chodesh (the New Month). After the Maariv (evening) prayer:
"Every day there are ten killed, twenty killed; two days ago—the day before yesterday—twenty were killed by friendly fire, and it happens every day. Now, the President of Harvard said that it is good to kill Jews, that it is a very important mitzvah (commandment), the first mitzvah in the world, it's from the Ten Commandments. They told [her] to retract [her antisemitic statement]. She said, 'Why on earth would I retract?' I am telling you the truth, that this is the most important mitzvah, for what are they doing here in the Land of Israel? It doesn't belong to them at all. Let them go to Antarctica, let them go to the moon, let them make a colony on the moon, let them buy a spaceship to the moon. They told her there are seventy thousand evacuees in the south, seventy thousand in the north. [She said] let there be a few more evacuees, what could happen already? It is actually a great mitzvah if they do... So, this is all because there are still girls who have not lengthened their skirts. Every girl who does not lengthen her skirt must know that this causes another hundred killed, another two hundred killed. Every Xiaomi (smartphone) that people hold and do not smash—these contain abominable images, such abominations that did not even exist in the Generation of the Flood; one never leaves Gehinnom (purgatory) for this. Everyone needs to break their Xiaomi right now at this moment, every boy should break his Xiaomi, and then the war will stop and there will be the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, Amen!".
