Whoever Listens to the Voice of the Tzaddik Receives Greetings from Heaven Every
Day - The Holy Words of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a in the Sacred Atmosphere of Motza'ei Shabbat Toldot

On this past Motzaei Shabbat, Parshat Toldot 5779, as is his holy custom, the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a held a holy circuit of merit for the masses throughout the country. Rav Berland shlit"a sang the Melaveh Malkah songs with the crowd and also delivered his holy words. We bring before you some of the holy sights and the holy words of the tzaddik, the foundation of the world.
"The courage that Mamre had—after Aner and Eshkol passed away, Mamre stood up and said, 'Now circumcise me, I have no fear.' They passed away because they disagreed with the tzaddik; they disagreed with Avraham. They were not whole, they were not constant with Avraham, they were not nullified to Avraham, and therefore they died. 'Now circumcise me' (Mamre gave advice to Avraham regarding the circumcision), and they circumcised Aner, and they saw that everything was fine with the first covenant in the world until today. Therefore, Mamre merited to be reincarnated as Abba Umana, for Mamre is the letters of 'Rafa' (to heal); the two Mems are a Peh (80), and the Resh and Aleph are the letters of 'Rafa'."
"Abba Umana would perform bloodletting (a common medical practice in the days of the Gemara, Bavli Taanit 21b). Abaye asked why he merited to receive a greeting from Heaven only on Friday, while Abba Umana received it every day (Abba Umana would receive a greeting from the Heavenly Academy every day, Abaye on every Erev Shabbat, and Raba on every Erev Yom Kippur. Abaye felt discouraged because of Abba Umana. They said to him: 'You cannot perform like his deeds!'... ibid)."
The holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a in his holy words - Motzaei Shabbat Toldot 5779
"Raba is a spark of Lot, and therefore he merited to receive a greeting only on Erev Yom Kippur. 'And they took Lot and his possessions, the son of Avraham's brother, and they went, and he was dwelling in Sodom' (Bereishit 14:12). The whole verse goes backwards, from back to front. Why is it written backwards, 'Lot' and then 'his possessions'? Because 'his possessions, the son of Avraham's brother' equals the gematria of 'Raba'. Raba was a spark of Lot; he had to rectify the sins of Lot, and this matter was very difficult, therefore he would receive a greeting only on Erev Yom Kippur."
"Abba Umana would receive a greeting every day because he was a reincarnation of Mamre, who agreed to die and sacrificed himself for the sake of the circumcision for Avraham. Whoever listens to the voice of the tzaddik receives a greeting from Heaven every day."
