Why Did the Hidden Tzaddik Knock on the Prison Window in the Middle of the Night?
A few days ago, the hidden tzaddik from the 36 tzaddikim, Rabbi Golan from the settlement of Alma in the north, arrived at Tzalmon Prison where the esteemed Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a is located.
Rabbi Golan knocked on the doors and windows of the detention center and requested to meet with Rav Berland shlit"a, reports the gabbai of Rabbi Golan, Rabbi Natanel Shnir shichyeh. Rabbi Golan insisted on entering, but the guards present repeatedly claimed that it was against regulations and they did not have the authority to let him in.
After repeated attempts, Rabbi Golan tried to act through people connected to the place of incarceration, but unfortunately (yes, to the sorrow of all of Israel suffering the distress of the plague and exile) he was unable to meet with Rav Berland and carry out what was shown to him from Heaven.
Afterwards, they asked Rabbi Golan: "What was so urgent for you to meet with Rav Berland in Tzalmon Prison?"
Rabbi Golan answered: "If I had met with Rav Berland shlit"a, we could have, with Hashem's help, sweetened the decree of the plague!"
