Why Did the Hidden Tzaddik Knock on the Prison Window in the Middle of the
Night?
A few days ago, the hidden tzaddik from the 36 hidden tzaddikim, Rabbi Golan from the settlement of Alma in the north, arrived at Tzalmon Prison, where the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a is being held.
Rabbi Golan knocked on the doors and windows of the detention center and requested to meet with Rav Berland shlit"a, relates the gabbai of Rabbi Golan, Rabbi Netanel Snir shlita. Rabbi Golan insisted on entering, but the guards who were on site repeatedly claimed that it was against regulations and they did not have the authority to allow him to enter.
After repeated attempts, Rabbi Golan tried to act through people who are connected to the place of incarceration, but unfortunately (yes, to the sorrow of all the Jewish people who suffer the pain of the plague and the exile), he did not succeed in meeting with Rav Berland and accomplishing what was shown to him from Heaven.
Afterward, they asked Rabbi Golan: "What was so urgent that you needed to meet with Rav Berland at Tzalmon Prison?"
Rabbi Golan answered: "If I had met with Rav Berland shlit"a, we could have, with Hashem's help, sweetened the decree of the plague!"
