Why Do They Want to Remove the Words of Rabbi Moyal zt"l About Rav Berland
shlit"a?

Rabbi Yaakov Salma shlit"a, head of the 'Netzach Netzachim' Kollel in Bnei Brak, shares a poignant message explaining what happened after they uploaded a video of a close family member of Rabbi Moyal. "We uploaded a video about Rabbi Nissim Moyal zt"l, featuring his family member who recounts Rabbi Moyal's attitude toward the greatness of Rav Berland shlit"a. Suddenly, the persecutors of the tzaddik called me and asked how I could tell such stories. I replied that the narrator is a close family member of Rabbi Moyal who is recounting things he saw firsthand."
"After the pressure on me to remove the video yielded no results, the persecutors began to pressure the Yeshiva with threats that they would pressure the donors to stop supporting the Yeshiva. The situation reached a point where that same family member who had enthusiastically shared the things in the video begged and pleaded for us to remove it."
We present here the words stated firsthand by the close family member of Rabbi Moyal zt"l, who spent much time in his presence.
"While I was visiting Rabbi Moyal in the hospitals, he told me, 'You don't know what I see regarding Rav Berland; I see him up there. There are tzaddikim there who consult with one another, but then Rav Berland comes and issues a decree.' I asked Rabbi Moyal, what does it mean that he issues a decree, and he answered me that what Rav Berland rules in the Heavenly Court, happens."
"I remember that when I was young, one of my uncles took me to Rav Berland. My uncle had an envelope with money that he gave to Rav Berland, telling him it was from Rabbi Moyal. Rav Berland told my uncle that the amount was going to the avreichim who study Torah, and added, 'In this world, I have nothing other than to study and spread the Torah.' When we returned to Kiryat Gat to Rabbi Moyal, he said, 'The decree has been completely annulled; that is it, the decree has been annulled.'"
"Rabbi Moyal, through his holy spirit, would always say that it is forbidden to speak against Rav Berland; one must only strengthen the faith in him so that the matter of the Rav and his students will grow. That the entire matter that Rav Berland spreads should grow—guarding the eyes, guarding the covenant, and studying the Gemara in depth. Nowhere else is there such work as there is in the 'Shuvu Banim' community of Rav Berland."
"I heard Rabbi Moyal himself say several times in the name of the Baba Elazar that there were tzaddikim who took upon themselves death and humiliation, but Rav Berland said he was willing to take everything upon himself. The Baba Elazar said that he would take the death upon himself. Rabbi Moyal added and said that for anyone who speaks about Rav Berland, it is an act of mercy that they should die. They challenged this, saying that death is a judgment. Rabbi Moyal said that words against the tzaddik hinder and delay the Geulah."
"I would follow Rabbi Moyal everywhere, even to the hospital where he was staying. One of the days he was at Ein Kerem Hospital, Rabbi Moyal gave me a prayer book of Psalms and Mishnayot. While I was studying, two people came to visit him. Rabbi Moyal said, 'I don't want them here; let them leave the hospital.' I asked him, 'Rabbi, what happened?' Rabbi Moyal answered, 'They think that because I am sick, they can extract words from me about the tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland. This is fire; it is forbidden to speak about the tzaddik, Rav Berland. Whoever deals with him will be gone; even in Heaven, they are talking about this,' concluded Rabbi Moyal."
