With a Gathering of Tens of Thousands, Shuvu Banim Celebrated the Release of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a in the Central Sukkah for the Hillula of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov 5778
Everyone wondered what the celebration for the release of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a would look like—the Tzaddik who carries the burden of the Jewish people's suffering on his back. Many believed it would be a celebration of unparalleled joy, but what transpired tonight (Saturday night, the intermediate days of Sukkot 5778) moved even the most optimistic among those waiting.
As thousands of celebrants from all walks of life streamed toward the giant Sukkah erected specifically for the event of Rabbi Berland shlit”a's release, the Rav shlit”a stood and ignited the hearts of those present with powerful, moving song and strengthening words of Torah.

Now, we can declare without a shadow of a doubt that it is also the most moving and joyful Sukkah in the world—for whoever has not seen the joy that was there has never seen joy in their life.

In the second video, one can see the Av Beit Din (Head of the Rabbinical Court) of Heichal Hora’ah, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Brandsdorfer shlit”a, who danced for many long minutes together with Rabbi Berland shlit”a on the stage.
This is the first coverage report regarding the release of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a and the Hillula (anniversary of passing) of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov during the Simchat Beit HaShoeivah (Celebration of the Water Drawing).
