With His Mighty Hand He Drew Forth the Segulah • The Children of the “Nechamas Tzion” Talmud Torah Receive Chanukah Money from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Rabbi Berland shlit"a welcomed the children of the Nechamas Tzion Talmud Torah, “Breslov Shuvu Banim,” in his home

On Wednesday—“the auspicious day,” the sixth Chanukah light—holy and precious children merited to ascend with song to the holy residence of Rabbi Berland shlit"a. With hearts overflowing and with holy awe, in the spirit of “He brought me into His holy inner chamber,” they entered Rabbi Berland shlit"a’s room to receive a coin as a blessing—for protection and as a segulah. For an entire hour, five hundred righteous children—“sons of understanding”—who are educated in the holy Nechamas Tzion institutions passed one by one before the pure Menorah: the Tzaddik of the generation, Rabbi Berland shlit"a. Rabbi Berland shlit"a received each and every child with warmth and affection, like an only son, and bestowed his blessings. His mouth never ceased speaking—praising his students and showering them with many blessings, drawing down great yeshuos—while they received from his holy hands the coin, prepared inside a special pouch. They will guard it in holiness, with strength and pure awe, and it will protect them all their days.

Before you: a documented glimpse of these holy children, deep within the holy place:
