Four cities in one night
While most people were tucked up in their beds, on Wednesday, October 10th – Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan – Rav Eliezer Berland was criss-crossing the country, making a number of home visits, as he does practically every night for the past year.
On this one night, for example, Rav Berland made a number of house visits, speaking to the public in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Holon and Rehovot.
The Rav gave over a number of Torah classes, sang some niggunim (holy melodies) with the public, and generally strengthened a large number of Jewish souls.
On his return to Jerusalem, the Rav then went on to give more shiurim in the holy city, too. Despite his advanced age, and his serious health issues, the Rav continues to display immense mesirut nefesh (self-sacrifice), trying to bring as many Jews back to Hashem as possible.
