Message from the Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, that was given over on Erev Shabbat, Parshat Ki Tisa, 5780.
As Israel starts to implement a raft of draconian measures to try to contain the Coronavirus, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, gave over the following message on Friday afternoon, March 13th, 2020.
The Rav was asked about the whole situation concerning the Coronavirus, that is currently unfolding in Israel.
The Rav first said the verse three times, [shemot 17:16] “The war of Hashem against Amalek in every generation.”
He also said to buy things for the house, up until erev Pesach – grains – without any panic. The Rav also said to only buy things with a badatz hechsher.
The Rav said that he is WORKING to nullify the Coronavirus from the world by erev Pesach.
The Tzaddik said that he is suffering terrible hardships in prison, awful difficulties, and the Rav repeated his request that 7 Tikkun HaKlalis should be said for him every day, without fail, for his refuah (healing and health).
And everyone who wants to donate to the Rav can continue to do so via any of the regular ways.

The Rav said that he’s prepared to die for everyone single one of us, a number of deaths.
This shows how the Tzaddik loves us all with an eternal love and is willing to sacrifice himself for us.
End of message.
The situation with the coronavirus epidemic is really not simple, as more and more of us are starting to realize.
The more people who are connected to, and praying for the success of, the Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, who has taken upon himself to battle against the Coronavirus, and to remove this destructive plague from the world, the easier and faster it’s going to go for everyone.
How can you connect to the Tzaddik, and help to end this pandemic – and the tremendous economic and social disruption it’s bringing in its wake?
There are a few different ways:
- Recite Rabbi Berland’s prayer to be saved from the Coronavirus every day, and send it out to as many people as you can.
- Recite the stones on the ephod 7 times a day:
- Recite the Tikkun Haklali for Rabbi Berland’s health and success, ideally seven times a day – but every single time you recite the Tikkun Haklali, it is giving the Rav, and the side of holiness, a tremendous boost.
- Do hafetza with the Rav’s books, and send out as many as you can, particularly the Prayers book.
- Help to support the Rav financially, by donating something to help cover his mounting legal and health expenses.
We are down to the wire, and things are getting deadly serious across the world.
At the time of writing, the Israeli government has cancelled all schools, and closed down all cafes, malls and restaurants. Gatherings above 10 people have now been banned, and it seems that even more drastic measures may yet be introduced.
The next five weeks leading into Pesach are going to be extremely challenging, even though the Tzaddik is working to sweeten everything behind the scenes. The more we join together, and throw our prayers and spiritual weight behind his efforts, the easier this will go for all of Am Yisrael, both in Israel and abroad.
Every Jewish community in the world stands to be severely impacted by Coronavirus, and each of us needs to put our qualms, ego and pride to one side, and to follow the Tzaddik’s advice and requests with utter simplicity and emunat Tzaddikim.
And may we hear good news, very soon.
