More Prayers for Children to be Tzaddikim – #2

Continuing the new series of translated prayers, this time from the booklet of prayers by Rabbi Berland to have Children Who Are Tzaddikim.

11. Master of the world who can do anything.

Grant me (my wife) the merit to be the most righteous and the most wise in the world, like it’s written, “her mouth (95) opens (493) with wisdom (75) and a Torah (1012) of kindness (72) is on (100) her tongue (391) = 2238”.

 And may I merit to come out from all my fears and worries.

Please Hashem, “who (501) created (203) joy (656) and happiness (359) groom (458) and bride (61) = 2238” and may I merit that all my children will be the most righteous in the generation, like it says, “Just as (501) the hosts (93) of heaven (395) cannot (31) be counted (350) nor (37) the sand (44) of the shore (44) measured (54), so (70) will I multiply (208) (401) the seed (277) of My servant (86) David (14) and the Levites, My attendants = 2516”.

And may they be attached to the Rav all their days and years until 120 years.

And in the merit of this, may I always sing and sign joyously before You, like it says, “and then Moshe and the children of Israel sang”.

And fulfil in me that which was said, Hashem who is One, “save the nation that declares ‘I am a wall’, brilliant as the sun, yet exiled and displaced likened to a palm tree, yet killed for your sake. And considered like sheep for slaughter. Although scattered among those who taunt her, she hugs and clings to You.”

12. Master of the world who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld.

Grant me the merit, “the humiliation (688) of man (45) and the embarrassment (31) of a nation (110) = 874 a worm and not a man”, “senseless and unknowing” for the revelation of Moshiach in this year.

And may I merit to see the revelation of David (14) the son of (52) Yishai (320) Your Moshiach (378) to the nation (110) = 874 of Your holiness and Your awe.

And grant me the merit to believe with complete faith that (30) in this (15) year (350) will come (19) Your righteous (194) redeemer (40) and redeem us (106).

And in the merit of this may I merit children who are holy, righteous and geniuses (110) = 874, attached to our holy and awesome teacher (Rabbenu) with all their Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chaya and Yechidah.

And may we merit to see this year the building of our Beit HaMikdash, in the blink of an eye. Amen, Netzach, Selah, Va’ed.

13. Master of the world who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld.

Grant me the merit to pour out oceans of tears before You.

And may I merit to draw down the spirit of life from the Tree of Life, from the river that comes out of Eden and waters the Garden, to my sons and daughters.

And may I (my wife) merit to reach the level of the righteous women in Egypt, who would give birth under the apple tree, and the verse was fulfilled in them, “and they suckled honey from the rock and oil from the flint rock”.

And that the angels that kept the children of Israel alive in Egypt will accompany and give life to my sons and daughters and the children of all the nation of Israel for the duration of all their one hundred and twenty years.

And may they merit to complete their tasks during their one hundred and twenty years and to draw down the spirit of life to all the children of Israel, whether those who are born, or those who are alive, that will lengthen the days of their lives with goodness and pleasantness.

And they will have lives full of Torah and prayer and good deeds, and without any wasted time, even for a short moment.

And may we merit to reach the awesome levels of Miriam and Yocheved who merited to reach the level of Chotmah d’Atika Kadisha.

Like it says, “and they caused the children to live”, meaning that they merited to draw down to all the children of Israel in Egypt and to the entire nation of Israel in all the generations the spirit of life of techiat ha’meitim (the revival of the dead) that is drawn down from the spirit of life that is drawn down from the Chotmah d’Atika, from where is drawn the spirit of life of Moshiach the son of David.

14. Master of the world who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld.

Grant me success, like it says, “Israel (541) performs (381) valor (48) = 1000”.

And may we merit to educate our children so that they will be the most righteous in the world, like it says, “her mouth (95) opens (493) with wisdom (75) and the Torah (1012) of kindness (72) is on (100) her tongue (391) = 2238”.

And may they merit to see the revelation of Moshiach (358) the son of (52) Yosef (156) Moshiach (358) the son of (52) David (24) = 1000.

And may they all merit to a healthy soul and body, because we believe in the healer (209) of the sick (48) of His nation (116) Israel (541).

And may I and my husband (wife) and my children merit to see the revelation of Eliyahu the prophet who is remembered for good, who was pure in his eyes, like it says, “send (338) Tishbi (712) to the treasured (104) nation (140) peace (214) joy (656) and rest (74) = 2238”.

15. Master of the world who can do anything.

Grant us the merit that our children will be the most wise and the most understanding in the world, like it says, “her mouth (95) opens (493) with wisdom (75) and the Torah (1012) of kindness (72) is on (100) her tongue (391) = 2238”.

And may they be strong and brave like Shimshon (696) the brave (216) = 912, and may they have long days and years, like Shet, the son of Adam HaRishon, who lived for 912 years.

And may they be strong and brave, and also me and my husband (wife).

And may I merit to strengthen my children and to draw down for them the light from Atik Yomin from Adam Kadmon, from the essence (200) of the soul (790) of our holy (415) and awesome (268) teacher (268) = 1941 Rabbenu Nachman the son of Simcha the son of Faige.

And may the verse be fulfilled in each one of my sons and my daughters, “Yehuda ben Teima says be as bold (77) as a leopard (310) light (130) as an eagle (570) run (290) like a deer (122) and be brave (211) as a lion (231) = 1941”.

16. Master of the world who is full of mercy, who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld.

Just as You granted to Yishai who merited to enter with a multitude and exit with a multitude, and the Gemara (Brachot 78a) says, “there is no ‘multitude’ less than 600,000”.

So too, grant also to me the merit of 600,000 students.

And to give birth to Moshiach the son of David, like You granted Yishai who died without sin, only from the advice of the snake.

So too also grant me the merit to be without any sin or transgression, and all my sins will be atoned for, and all blemishes of my covenant, and I will no longer blemish my covenant at all, not with my eyes, and not with any limb of my limbs.

And truly forgive and pardon all my sins.

And grant me the merit like Ruth to throw behind me all of the matters of this world, and to be like Ruth who was the daughter or granddaughter of Eglon, king of Moav, and who threw behind her all the trappings of royalty, and went to gather sheaves with self-sacrifice.

Please Merciful and Gracious One who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld, just like Boaz gave to Ruth six barleys and through this she merited a great grandson with six levels, ‘who knows how to play’ – meaning he knows how to ask, ‘brave’ – meaning he knows how to answer, ‘man of war’ – that he knows how to ‘give and take’ in the battle for Torah, ‘astute in matters’ – that he understands one thing from another thing, ‘and G-d is with him’ – meaning that the halacha follows him in all matters (Sanhedrin 93b).

And there was fulfilled in him the verse, ‘and in everything he turned to he would succeed’.

So too also grant me children and grandchildren, wise and understanding, brave, men of war who know how to play (music) and men of description. And Hashem should be with them.

Please Gracious and Merciful One, may I merit children who are men of description +3 = Sandelphon (280) Metatron (324) = 604 who will truly merit to see the Cherubs who are Sandelphon and Metatron, from between whom came the voice, “don’t send your hand to the youth”.

And this is the secret of the youths.

And may I merit like Ruth who requested that the secret of the youths be revealed to her, which is the secret of the Cherubs.

And then there was revealed to her the secret of the cherubs, and in the merit of this, she merited Moshiach ben David.

17. Please Hashem Merciful and Gracious One, who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld.

Please grant me and all of the nation of Israel, that the soul with which you imbued me (my wife) now will be at the level of Moshe Rabbenu, the faithful shepherd, who will merit to light up the whole world from one end to the other with Your great and wonderful light, and announce to the whole world that You are G-d and there is no other, and light up the entire world with your wonderful light which is pleasant and clean and pure and which lights up all the worlds from one end to the other.

And may his soul be from the world of Atzilut, and who will not transgress any sin in the world at all, G-d forbid, not from the Torah and not from the Rabbis.

And may they be holy and pure with the holiness of the Holy of Holies, and may they merit to sanctify with their holiness the entire world, and all the spaces of the world, like Yosef the Tzadik who merited to sanctify all of the spaces of the world and therefore the offerings of lesser holiness [in the time of the Mishkan at Shiloh] could be eaten by all who could see [the Mishkan].

Please Merciful One, with Your endless mercy, and with Your immense kindness which never ceases ever, in that You can do anything and who can say to You what to do.

Act according to the greatness of Your wonders, that this wonderful soul which you imbued in me (my wife) will announce to the entire world and to all its residents, ‘that every creature will know that You are its Creator and every created one will understand that You are the One who created him, and every one with a soul in their nostrils will say G-d is King and His Kingship rules over everything’.

And open for ever the light of redemption, and draw down Your glory for all the world and its residents, and show Your beauty to the entire world.

And everyone will know the power of Your Kingship, and everyone will desire Your service, and in all Your actions they will prostrate themselves before You, and they will give you the Crown of Kingship.

And may this soul merit to draw down the soul of Moshiach the son of David into the world, who will build the Beit HaMikdash, and bring the final redemption, and the revival of the dead, in the blink of an eye, for us and for all of Israel and for the entire world, Amen.

Master of the world, help me that this will be a male son like the soul of our holy teacher (Rabbenu HaKadosh).

And just like you merited Rachel and turned for her a daughter into a son, so too may you grant me the merit to give birth to a male son who is holy and pure, with the holiness of our holy teacher (Rabbenu HaKadosh), and the true Tzadik with a wondrous mind, who is able to bring the redemption to the nation of Israel, to build the Beit HaMikdash, and to bring the revival of the dead.

And grant me the merit to be fundamentally holy and pure, and not to fall into any evil speech or forbidden speaking, in order to guard over the purity of my holy son.

And may he learn the entire Torah and remember it immediately when he begins to learn.

And may his eyes be enlightened with the light of Your Torah, and grant him the merit to be a man of kindness who will influence the entire world with his kindness, and who will not fall in any forbidden thing, G-d forbid, even to the extent of the endpoint of the [letter] ‘yud’.

And, so too, may I also not fall, G-d forbid, in any forbidden matter.

And grant me the merit from today to attach myself to You with all my soul and my strength, and the holy name of ‘Havaya’ will never leave from in front of my eyes.

And I will not forget You for even a second.

And I will know that it is You that granted me the merit of this holy soul, and that I will be worthy of raising him, like Yocheved [raised] Moshe Rabbenu.

18. Master of the world who is full of mercy, Rock of my hiding place, the Intellect which is hidden from all idea.

Forgiver and Pardoner of all my sins, that I sinned and I transgressed and that I was negligent in, from the day I came to awareness until today.

And in the merit that You will forgive all of my sins, my transgressions and my negligence, grant me (my wife) to guard my (her) pregnancy in holiness and purity, to give birth at an appropriate time which is favorable to a life of goodness and peace.

And [for the child] to enter into his bridal canopy, him and all his generation, and that there will not be amongst his descendants or among all my descendants, any infertility or barrenness, and all of them will give birth immediately within the first year of marriage.

And all the seed of my loins will guard the covenant with holiness and purity and complete purpose, that has no completeness like it.

And all of them will be holy with the holiness of our holy teacher (Rabbenu HaKadosh) with the ultimate purpose of holiness and purity, like Rabbenu promised to make all of us, “just like me, really”.

And in the merit of this, that I will yearn all the days of my life to achieve the holiness of Rabbenu HaKadosh, with the ultimate purpose of holiness and purity.

Imbue me always with children who live and exist, and may I merit to have many sons and daughters who will come with all their needs to completeness.

And there will not be anything lacking for them all the days of their lives, and they will be able to also bring down for other people an abundance and all good things.

And all their days will be true giving and kindness, and greatness in Torah and in serving Hashem for the sake of His name.

And all the days of their lives they will yearn only to truly sanctify the name of heaven, and may they merit to bring the complete redemption, and the building of the Beit HaMikdash, and the revival of the dead, speedily and in our days, Amen.

21: Master of the World, from Whom nothing is withheld.

Give me the merit that my sons and daughters will be the most tzaddikim (saintly) in the generation.

And imbue them, essentially, with the soul of the awesome Rabbenu HaKadosh, Nachman ben Simcha.

And by way of this, the 50^th gate should be revealed to them, in the merit of Matityahu ben Yochanan Kohen Gadol.

And do for them, Hashem Echad (Who is One), miracles and wonders, as in the days of Matityahu ben Yochanan, Kohen Gadol. And they will learn Torah day and night, and merit to enter Gan Eden with their bodies.

And they will merit to be: “as bold (77) as a leopard (310) light (130) as an eagle (570) run (290) like a deer (122) and be brave (211) as a lion (231) = 1941, to do the will of our Father in shemayim (heaven).”

And they should fulfill the verse:

“And I will consume the plunder of Your enemies.”

22. Master of the World Who can do anything.

Please merit me that my children should be the most tzaddik (saintly) in the generation.

And merit me to subdue the klipa (evil husk) of Haman, “who gets involved in an argument that is not his own.”

And by way of this, I will merit the 32 paths of wisdom, and by way of this, I will merit to have 10 banim zcharim (first born sons), each one at the level of the awesome Rabbenu HaKadosh.

Answer, Hashem! Let me fulfill the verse: “Yearn for purity, lest He grows wrathful”, “He who sits in heaven will laugh, Hashem will mock them.”

Answer, Hashem, “From Egypt He redeemed us, and from the house of slavery He liberated us.”

Answer, Hashem, redeem my unfortunate soul from all the darkness and the hiddenness, lo alenu, and I will merit to wake up early in the morning. And, to always be in a state of deep joy, without any hint of sadness, God forbid.

And I will merit to see the pleasantness of Hashem at every moment and second, “and protect our going out, and our coming in, for life and for peace.”

And reveal to me all 70 faces of the Torah, and fulfill in me the verse, “Gad will recruit a regiment and it will retreat on its heel.”

Answer Hashem, “At a blast from His nostrils, the waters were heaped up, the running water stood up straight like a wall, the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.”

And reveal to my children all 70 faces of the Torah, and they should merit to have a brilliant mind. And we should merit that my children and my husband should always be sincerely attached to Rabbenu.

Answer Hashem, “Don’t kindle Your wrath towards your people.”

And give me the merit to believe in all the Lamed Vav Tzaddikim of the generation. And I should also merit, merciful and compassionate Father, that my husband should be a head and leader in the Sanhedrin.

And that we should all merit, me and my husband, and my sons and my daughters, that You should imbue us with the neshama of David Ben Yishai, who will bring the complete redemption in the blink of an eye.

In the merit of the awesome Rabbenu HaKadosh, the Tzaddik, foundation of the world, Rabbenu Nachman Ben Simcha ben Feiga.
