The abominable and cruel war against our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a isn’t weakened. On the contrary, it only gets stronger and stronger. Rav Berland fights with might, but at his side are a group of warriors for whom the wellbeing of the Tzaddik and of the Jewish people stands opposite their eyes day and night.
They are the ones who bear all the daily legal and medical expenses of the Rav with might. It’s true that we helped them in the past, but right now the war is getting stronger and they require additional resources for the benefit of everything concerning the Rav.

“As we all know, the war, the fight against the Rav continues all the more forcefully.
“Therefore, it’s required by us — all of those who are helping with the Rav’s affairs — a lot of help with the entire issue of funding. Helping with the entire legal process of the Rav — as is known, a terrible campaign is being conducted against the Rav – [requires] a lot of funding.
“Really, all of those involved in this matter need a lot of assistance.
“Now, when we are in the time of Chanukah, it’s brought in the holy books that one of our greatest rectifications and preparations to receive the unique light of Chanukah is through Tzedaka (charity).
“Therefore, anyone who can undertake to help, each person according to his ability, through this entire legal process of the Rav, and in everything that is happening at the moment – a blessing should come upon him, and certainly, there is in this the Mitzvah of redeeming captives.”
