The Secret of “Mordechai Left the King’s Presence…” — Daily Ma’amar by R’ Berland Shlit”a

The Daily Ma’amar of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a, courtesy of the “Hashem Hu HaElokim” leaflet:

The Secret of “Mordechai left the king’s presence clad in royal apparel of turquoise and white with a large gold crown”

For Mordechai merited to the secret of “a large gold crown.”  The Holy Ari explains: That he merited to Keter (Crown) of Adam Kadmon, and through this all the nations of the world were nullified before him, and the seventy sons of Haman who remained alive kneeled before him and kissed his feet at the command of the king, saying: “Our father was evil, and you are a Tzaddik.  Our father stupid, and you wise.”

And Queen Esther is peering between the lattices and sees all of this, as it says, “observing through the windows, peering through the lattices” — this is Queen Esther who peers through the lattices, and sees all Shushan bowing and kneeling before Mordechai and kissing his feet as the king commanded [second Targum].  And it was commanded by the king to remove a board from the rafters of the house of anyone who did not do this and to hang him upon it.

And it was fulfilled in all the people of the land the blessing of the tribe of Zevulun [I Divrei HaYamim 12:34]: “Of Zevulun — fifty thousand going out in the army, who deployed themselves for war with all kinds of weapons of war, who arrayed themselves without hesitancy [lit. without a heart and (another) heart, i.e. without duplicity].”  That Barak asked Devorah: Who will go with me to fight against Putin and Asad?!  Devorah said to him: The tribe of Zevulun and Naftali, who are the most sincere of all twelve tribes, and they respond to every request of the Tzaddik, even such as Devorah and Yael.
