RAV BERLAND VISITS THE GRAVE OF JOSHUA BIN NUN
After his stirring visits to the Kotel at Simchat Torah, and his visits to the holy graves of Yosef HaTzaddik in Shechem and Shimon HaTzaddik a little closer to home, in Jerusalem, Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita, recently visited the grave of Joshua Bin Nun, in the Arab town of Hares, in the Shomron.
It was said about Joshua Bin Nun that ‘the face of Yehoshua was like the face of the moon’, and Rav Berland’s visit took place on Rosh Chodesh of the month of Cheshvan, 5778.
As usual, the Rav was accompanied on his trip by many hundreds of his students and followers. Immediately upon reaching the kever, Rav Berland began to pray in an awesome way on behalf of Am Yisrael and the Jewish people, and encouraged his followers to recite the Tikkun Haklali (10 psalms that make up the ‘General Remedy’, as set out by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.)
As is his custom, the Rav repeated the Tikkun Haklali a number of times. Below, we’re happy to share a short video clip of his historic visit (2.30 mins):
