10th of Nissan — The Yahrtzeit of Miriam the Prophetess: A Prayer by Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a at the Graves of the Matriarchs in Tiberias

On Shabbos Tzav — the 10th of Nissan — is the day of the yahrtzeit of Miriam the Prophetess, sister of Aharon and Moshe, 3,295 years ago (2,488). Presented here is a prayer written by Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a to be said at her grave in Tiberias. According to the tradition, Miriam rests beside her mother Yocheved and the holy Matriarchs—Avigail, Tzipporah, Bilhah, and Zilpah.

The well-known segulah from the holy Arizal is to drink water from the tap every Motzaei Shabbos, because Miriam’s Well circles through all the lakes and all the rivers and bestows healings.

Here are the prayers that The Rav, Eliezer Berland shlit"a, wrote to say at her grave:

Master of the World, Almighty, grant me the merit to reach the level of Yocheved and Miriam—the level of Hashem Echad 1 “and they kept the children alive” 489 “the” 401 “children” 99 = 990. And through this, may I merit to draw into the world the souls of Moshiach 358 ben 52 Yosef 156, and Moshiach 358 ben 52 David 14 = ‏‏990—who will build the Beis HaMikdash and bring the complete Geulah in the blink 305 ‏of an eye 130 = 435. And may I merit to be mighty and strong, like Shimshon 696 the mighty one, whose soul was from Atik 580 Yomin 116 = 696; like Serach 508 bas 402 Asher 501 = 1411, who subdued the eleven 11 chiefs of Esav, and in whom the verse was fulfilled: “And it was turned around, that 501 ‏the Jews 355 ruled 80 they 50 over their haters” 414 = 1411.
