6 Years Since the Return of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a to
the Holy Land — The Sights and Photos

"Shout and sing for joy, you who dwell in Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel."
After three years of exile during which our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, stayed in Morocco, Zimbabwe, Holland, Johannesburg, and other countries, today, six years ago, we were privileged to have our teacher, the Rav, return to the Holy Land.
On the return flight, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, prayed with the members of our community who were on the plane, received the public, and landed on the holy soil amidst uplifting song. Thousands of our community members, students, and supporters of Rav Berland arrived at the airport to see our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a. In a special recording, our teacher, the Rav, requested that the police and public order be respected.

The moment our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, stepped off the plane, he prostrated himself on the holy soil and kissed the holy earth, having not been in the Holy Land for three consecutive years.
