“Sing out and rejoice, O dweller of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel”

After three years of exile, during which The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, stayed in Morocco, Zimbabwe, Holland, and Johannesburg—as well as other countries—today, about six years ago, we were privileged that The Rav returned to the Holy Land.

On the return flight, The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, prayed together with Anash who were on the plane, received people, and—amid uplifting song—landed on the soil of holiness. Thousands of our people—students and supporters of Rabbi Berland—came to the airport to see The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a. In a special recording, The Rav asked everyone to honor the police and maintain public order.

The moment The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, stepped off the plane, he prostrated himself on the soil of the Holy Land and kissed the sacred dust, after not having been in Eretz HaKodesh for three consecutive years.
