A Prayer to Merit Being a Shadar (Rabbinic Emissary), to Awaken All the Slumbering, and to See Miracles and Wonders
Master of the Universe, the Omnipotent One, grant me the merit to be Your emissary. May I raise a million euros each and every day, which is 100,000 every single hour. Grant me grace and loving-kindness in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us. May I never sit in a jail or prison. May all my thoughts and desires be solely focused on being a Shadar (rabbinic emissary) day and night.
May I be a Shadar all the days of my life, just like the Chida (Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai, zt"l) and other tzaddikim. For the Shadar is called Migdal Eder (the Tower of the Flock), the one who guards the flock. The holy book Bris Kehunas Olam says in the name of Yonasan ben Uziel that Mashiach will come from Migdal Eder, from Adam Kadmon (Primordial Man, the highest spiritual realm), from the spiritual union of Rachel and Leah (the numerical value of Eder equals 274).
This is like Devorah the Prophetess who sat between HaRamah (the numerical value of Adam Kadmon equals 243), embodying the mystical secret of "The Children of Israel went out with a high hand [b'yad ramah]." For King David was the pillar of fire that walked before the camp of Israel, and he merited to become Mashiach ben David. He sits at the head of the Tachkemoni tribe, with Adam, Seth, and Methuselah on his right (Tractate Sukkah 52b), because everyone receives their spiritual sustenance from him.
Therefore, the Zohar (Parashas Chayei Sarah) says regarding the verse "And he begot Seth," that there were six tzaddikim who were a perfect paradigm of the Heavenly realms above. About them it is said, "in His likeness and in His image." They were the ones who were supposed to build and bring down the Third Temple of fire. Had they done so, the Geulah (Redemption) would have occurred in the blink of an eye; in a single second, the Temple of fire would have descended.
These six tzaddikim are: King Saul in his neck, Samson in his strength, King Asa in his feet, King Zedekiah in his eyes, Absalom in his hair, and King Josiah in his nostrils. These six were literally a paradigm of the Heavenly realms above.
In the exact same way, every single Shadar is a paradigm of the Heavenly realms above. He has the power to bring the entire Jewish nation back in teshuvah (repentance). He has the power to awaken all those who are spiritually slumbering and bring them back to their soul's root. As the verse states, "And the Children of Israel went out with a high hand [b'yad ramah]" (the numerical value of Adam Kadmon equals 245). So too, the Shadarim (emissaries) must go out with a high hand, and see miracles and wonders with a high hand. ©
