A Prayer to Merit Educating My Children and the Children of Israel with Love
Knowing They are the Holy of Holies, and Through Education
Master of the Universe, the Omnipotent One, grant me the merit to educate my children, and all the children of Israel, with love, joy, and gladness. May I always remember that they are children of Hashem, blessed be He—the children of Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov, David, and Shlomo. May I always remember that each and every child is the Holy of Holies, exceedingly holy and awesome. May I always remember the verse: "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord Hashem, when I will send a famine in the land; not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of Hashem." "And they shall fly upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west." "And the house of Yaakov shall be a fire, and the house of Yosef a flame, and the house of Esav for stubble, and they shall kindle in them and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esav, for Hashem has spoken." And through educating our sons and daughters in all the ways of education, may they merit to see Hashem face to face, as it is stated: "Hashem spoke with you face to face." "And saviors shall ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esav, and the kingdom shall be Hashem's." "Hashem reigns, Hashem has reigned, Hashem will reign forever and ever." "The waters encompassed me to the soul; the deep closed around me, the weeds were wrapped about my head." "When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Hashem; and my prayer came to You, into Your holy Temple." "But I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; that which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is of Hashem."
