A Prayer to Merit Receiving Insults with Love and Without Resentment

Master of the World, Almighty, merit me to receive all insults (bizyonos) with love—whatever each and every person shames me with—and let me not hold a grudge (hakpadah) against anyone. Rather, let me receive all insults with true love, and I will rejoice in every insult like one who finds great spoil, as it is said: 'Those who are insulted but do not insult, who hear their shame and do not respond, who act out of love and rejoice in suffering'—about them it is said, 'And those who love Him shall be like the sun going forth in its might.' And may joy and happiness dwell in our home, and let me achieve a true rectification (tikkun) for the soul, and to say the Tikkun HaKlali (The General Rectification) three times, even incidentally. And may joy and peace dwell in our home, as it is said: 'The Jews had light (212) and gladness (359) and joy (656) and honor (316)' = 1543; 'For the Shechinah (Divine Presence) does not dwell except through joy' (1808).For the healing and salvation of Kamil bat Hamah. And Zohara bat Percha, for long life and years.B"SD (With the help of Heaven) 504To merit receiving insults with love and without resentment, and may joy, happiness, and peace dwell in our home.Master of the World, Almighty, merit me to receive all insults (bizyonos) with love—whatever each and every person shames me with—and let me not hold a grudge (hakpadah) against anyone.
