A Prayer to Merit Rectifying the Flaw in Faith and the Rest of the Reincarnations We Came to Rectify, and to Unite and Connect Everyone
A Prayer for the Third Week of Shovavim (the weeks of repentance), Parashat Bo
"With our youth and with our elders we will go... for we will not know with what (mah) we will serve Hashem until we arrive there."
Master of the Universe, the Omnipotent One! Grant us the merit during the third week of Shovavim to rectify the flaw in faith and all the holy sparks that we have damaged, from the sin of Adam the first man until now. [Rectify] from the days of Adam's separation from Eve until now, and everything we have damaged from the generation of Enosh, the generation of the Flood, and the generation of the Dispersion who built the Tower of Babel in order to unite all the forces of mankind against Hashem, May He be blessed. [Rectify the sins of] the people of Sodom, and all those who chopped people into pieces—cutting off their legs because they loved symmetry and wanted the legs to be perfectly symmetrical with the beds. They stretched their hands and legs, causing them the terrible agonies of death, just so they would fit the exact size of the bed. They did all of this out of a belief in "my own power and the might of my hand," acting out of a faith rooted in heresy, wanting to completely remove Divine Providence from the world. But now, through the verse, "With our youth and with our elders we will go," we elevate all the holy sparks from all of our reincarnations. As it says, "And we will not know with what (mah) we will serve Hashem until we arrive there." For it is only through the Divine Name of Ma"h (the Name of 45) that it is possible to rectify all the flaws from all of our reincarnations, from the sin of Adam until now. This can only be achieved through true love of friends, as it is written in Parashat Yitro, "And Israel encamped there opposite the mountain"—meaning they were like one man with one heart. They reached the absolute peak of unity, of being completely included within the One. So too, may we merit to be completely included right now, in this third week of Shovavim, within the One Hashem, as one nation, with one heart. May we not feel any barrier between one person and another. Rather, let us strengthen our faith in one another—a wife in her husband, and a husband in his wife. Let us not feel any separation from each other, as it is written, "All the souls of the house of Jacob that came into Egypt were seventy soul." Even though there were seventy souls, they were essentially all one single soul. Through this, may we merit the One Hashem, to bring Mashiach ben David, to bring down the Third Temple built of fire, and to experience the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days. May we merit the four expressions of Geulah: "I will bring out," "I will save," "I will redeem," and "I will take." For the merit of The Rav shlit"a and his household, and for the merit of the groom Natan ben Tzipporah Feiga and the bride Feiga bat Chaya Rozel, that they should walk in the path of the holy Rebbe Nachman and The Rav shlit"a.
