A Prayer to Merit Hashem's Help from the Sanctuary, to Become Sanctified, to Strengthen Oneself in Guarding the Foundation, and to Learn with a Fast of Speech Every Monday
A Prayer for the Days of Shovavim, Week Two
May Hashem send your help from the Sanctuary, and support you from Zion.
"May He send (348) your help (297) from the Sanctuary (444), and from Zion (202) support you (164)" = 1481. For only through holiness, which is called "from the Sanctuary" (mikodesh), specifically in the second week, which corresponds to the Sefirah (Divine emanation) of Chochmah (Wisdom)—because the first week corresponded to the Sefirah of Keser (Crown), and now the second week corresponds to the Sefirah of Chochmah, for we are now in the Sefirah of Chochmah—during which time one must strengthen oneself in guarding the Covenant (shmiras habris) even more, and to connect and unify Chochmah and Binah (Understanding), the sun and the moon. And through this, "And they shall be (27) for luminaries (677) in the firmament of (382) the heaven (395)" = 1481. And through guarding the Covenant during the days of Shovavim (a winter period dedicated to repentance and spiritual purification), we will merit to observe a ta'anis dibbur (fast of speech) on every Monday and Thursday of the days of Shovavim. And through this, "And also the Eternal of (154) Israel (541) will not (31) lie (610) and will not (37) repent (108)" = 1481. And through the fasts of speech that we undertake during the days of Shovavim, especially during the time of Torah study, our learning will ascend and become integrated into the Ohr Ein Sof (Infinite Divine Light), which has no end or limit. And every single letter of our learning will become entirely the Ohr Ein Sof, which has no end or limit.
For the elevation of the soul of Yaakov ben Malka z"l, who passed away on the 1st of Shevat. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
For the success of Leah bas Yehudis, in spirituality and materiality.
