A Shiur for the “Meshivas Nefesh” Community in Beit Shemesh
in the Home of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The 'Meshivat Nefesh' community in Beit Shemesh, led by Rabbi Carmel Yehuda shlit"a ○ Coverage of the lesson and fiery words from the lecture
The members of the 'Meshivat Nefesh' community in Beit Shemesh, which draws many who are becoming closer to our holy Rebbe (may his merit protect us), were privileged to be led by Rabbi Yehuda Carmel shlit"a, who has been privileged in recent years to draw closer to our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, and to draw from the 'flowing stream' for all who enter the study hall.
Some of the newcomers to the synagogue were privileged—to our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a—to enter the Holy of Holies this evening, the night of the 24th of Sivan, for a lesson at the home of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a.
In the lesson, which lasted over thirty-five minutes, our teacher the Rav spoke about the weekly Torah portion and the dispute of Korach and his congregation, while in the middle, our teacher the Rav shlit"a added encouragement regarding shalom bayit (peace in the home) and the virtue of living in Jerusalem.
In the lesson, our teacher the Rav elaborated that even though Korach’s soul was very high, and he had a hidden and concealed intention in all his dispute against Moshe Rabbeinu, because he wanted to bring the complete Geulah (Redemption), yet our teacher the Rav said—one does not argue with the tzaddik, no matter what they 'merit to achieve' in the merit of this! Before you is a short excerpt from the lesson:
"Korach ben Yitzhar, therefore it is written 'the fat of the Yitzhar' (Bamidbar 18:12); Korach was pure olive oil, but he needed Moshe. He heard the Ten Commandments, for the more righteous a person is, the more trials he has to nullify himself. Reb Noson brings that he was the head of the Levites, he was on the highest level of all the tribe of Levi, but he could not nullify himself to Moshe, because the more righteous a person is, the harder it is [to nullify oneself to the true tzaddik]."
