Shvivi Or Kollel ○ Summary from the Shiur

“If not for Rabbi Nosson, not a single leaf would have remained from all the writings…” The Shvivi Or Kollel toils to bring the illuminating words, writings, and chiddushim of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, out into the light for the world. Each shiur that comes forth as words of the Living G-d is transcribed and typed up with sources, so that future generations will also merit to enjoy a taste of Gan Eden on earth from the shiurim of The Rav shlit"a.

Alongside the shiurim delivered each day, the Shvivi Or Kollel works to publish The Rav shlit"a’s shiurim in sefarim—hundreds of pages, breathtaking to behold, with thousands of source references. In addition to the existing sefarim from the years 5777–5781 (2017–2021), and the sefer that is already ready for print from the year 5782 (2022), they are now working on all the sefarim of the shiurim delivered over the years, beginning from 5749–5776 (1989–2016). Beyond this, there is another series of sefarim from the writings of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, called “Kanfei Nesharim”—hundreds of articles from throughout the years on various topics, for individuals and for broader groups.

The kollel’s avreichim are G-d-fearing talmidei chachamim who sit day and night immersed in Torah, and in their free time they review and transcribe the words of the Living G-d that came forth from the mouth of the Gevurah.

With Hashem’s help, last week on Monday night, the night of the 16th of Shevat, The Rav shlit"a delivered a special shiur to the kollel’s avreichim. In the shiur, The Rav shlit"a spoke on several topics, including the weekly parashiyos, Emunah in the Tzaddik, tefillah with niggunim, learning Gemara b’iyun, and other treasures of the holy Torah. After forty minutes of a fiery, blazing shiur, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, concluded and strengthened the avreichim of the “Shvivi Or” Kollel in the greatness of spreading the words of the Tzaddik.
