Affixing a Mezuzah by The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a ○ Heichal HaTorah Shuvu Banim was inaugurated ○ The Chanukas HaBayis feast with the participation of The Rav shlit"a and the community’s rabbis

“The habit of learning rises higher than the fulfillment of all the mitzvos”—so Rebbe Nachman wrote in Sefer HaMiddos. In all of Breslov, there is no one like Rabbi Berland shlit"a who so strongly demands and awakens people to their obligation to learn, just as Rebbe Nachman so powerfully stirred everyone to Torah study. And in Rabbi Berland shlit"a, the words truly apply: he teaches beautifully—and he fulfills beautifully.

With great Divine assistance, at the “Shuvu Banim” synagogue under the leadership of The Rav shlit"a, they inaugurated last night “Heichal HaTorah – Shuvu Banim,” a place where one can have yishuv hada’as—settled, focused clarity of mind—for learning the holy Torah.

The Rav shlit"a took part in the Chanukas HaBayis ceremony and recited the blessing “for affixing a mezuzah.” Afterwards, The Rav shlit"a delivered a special shiur during the Chanukas HaBayis feast. In his talk, The Rav shlit"a spoke about the obligation to learn the holy Torah, and about the greatness of this place—“Heichal HaTorah”—which makes it possible to learn Torah with yishuv hada’as.
