"At the Molad of Mar-Cheshvan, Bring Down for Us the Third Holy Temple, a Temple of Fire" • A Prayer for the Molad of the Month of Mar-Cheshvan 5785

The Molad (birth of the new moon) for the month of Mar-Cheshvan will occur tonight—the 30th of Tishrei 5785, the first day of Rosh Chodesh (the New Month) Mar-Cheshvan. At 3:44 and 11 chalakim (parts of an hour), here is a prayer written by the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), for the Molad of the month of Mar-Cheshvan 5785:

The Molad of Mar-Cheshvan

Master of the Universe, Almighty One, from Whom no purpose can be withheld, at the Molad (birth of the new moon) of Mar-Cheshvan, which will be on Friday at 3:44 and 14 chalakim (parts of an hour). Bring down for us the Third Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple), a Temple of fire, just as You promised for the month of Cheshvan—in which the building of the First Beis HaMikdash was completed—that You will build the Third in its month, the month of Cheshvan. And may we merit to see the Kohen Gadol (High Priest) in the Third Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple), a Temple of fire that will spread over all of Jerusalem [Pesikta 1]. And may we merit to know, in the month of Mar-Cheshvan, the entire Shas (the Talmud), Likutey Halachos (Breslov work on law), Likutey Moharan (the main teachings of Rebbe Nachman), Ketzos HaChoshen, Nesivos HaMishpat, Tokpo Kohen, the 14 volumes of the Rambam, the 4 parts of the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law), the 4 Turim, the Kessef Mishneh, Maggid Mishneh, Mishneh LaMelech, Lechem Mishneh, Mahari Korkus, Rabbeinu Manoach, Hagahos Maimoniyos, the Shach, Taz, Magen Avraham, Sma, Chelkas Mechokek, Rabbeinu Shmuel, the Beis Yosef, Bach, Darchei Moshe, Mesillas Yesharim (The Path of the Just), Pele Yoetz, Shevet Mussar, Orchot Tzaddikim (Ways of the Righteous), Shaarei Teshuvah (Gates of Repentance), all the Zohars, Tikkunei Zohar, Etz Chaim (Tree of Life), the Eight Gates, Sefer HaGilgulim (Book of Reincarnations), Pri Etz Chaim, Saraf Etz Chaim, all the books of the Arizal (Rabbi Isaac Luria)—everything word for word, letter for letter, forward and backward, with both Bekiut (proficiency) and Iyun (depth).
