On Wednesday afternoon, the 27th of Adar I, dozens of the precious children of 7th grade—classes 1 and 2, may they increase—at the “Breslov – Nechamas Tzion” Talmud Torah, under the leadership of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, entered into the inner sanctum. This was in honor of completing the chapter “HaSocher Es HaUmanin” in Tractate Bava Metzia, and to receive certificates bearing the signature of his holy hand, displayed with pride and splendor.
Before the distribution of the certificates, the teachers examined the precious children in front of The Rav, and the children answered fluently, giving complete responses to every question that was asked. Afterwards, the children were given pages with a special song composed in honor of entering into the inner sanctum, and all the pure children sang together sweetly to the melody of “Hoshi’a Es Amecha…” about the privilege of learning with joy in the Talmud Torah. Here is the special refrain from the song:

“The Torah that we learn—we remember and we know; and to serve Hashem we rejoice and we dance—and Hashem we always praise. In the Nechamas Tzion Talmud Torah—we always do the will of the Most High; with joy—this is always the idea—may the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be accepted…”
After the special singing, the excited children came forward one by one and received the special certificate from the holy hands of The Rav. Standing alongside The Rav were the cheder supervisor, R’ Bokretzky, may he live, and the teachers R’ Heltovsky, may he live, and R’ Mendelson, may he live.

In his unique way, The Rav greeted each and every precious child with a radiant countenance. On The Rav’s face, one could clearly see the deep satisfaction he received from these schoolchildren—full of grace—who were receiving a certificate for their great knowledge in learning. With a smile and words of encouragement for each one, The Rav presented the special certificate.
After the children had all come through, the teachers approached to receive a personal blessing from The Rav shlit"a, and The Rav strengthened them to continue watering these young saplings in the path of the tradition of Israel.
