Dozens of precious children from the seventh-grade classes at Talmud Torah 'Nechamat Tzion' entered into the holy presence for an examination and the completion of the chapter 'HaSocher et HaUmanin' ■ Receiving certificates from the holy hands of the Gaon Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a ■ A special song sung by the children about Torah study ■ The educators received blessings from our teacher, the Rav shlit"a
On the afternoon of Wednesday, 27 Adar I, dozens of precious children from seventh-grade classes 1 and 2—may they increase—at the 'Breslov - Nechamat Tzion' Talmud Torah, under the presidency of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, entered into the holy presence to mark the completion of the chapter 'HaSocher et HaUmanin' in Tractate Bava Metzia, and to receive certificates upon which his holy signature is proudly and gloriously displayed.
Before the distribution of the certificates, the teachers examined the precious children before our teacher, the Rav, and the children answered with fluency and complete accuracy to every question asked. Afterward, the children were given pages with a special song composed in honor of the entry into the holy presence, and all the pure children sang together sweetly to the melody of 'Hoshia et Amecha...' about the privilege of studying with joy in the Talmud Torah. Before you is the special chorus from the song:
"The Torah that we study - we remember and know, and to serve Hashem we are happy and dancing - and Hashem we always praise. In Talmud Torah Nechamat Tzion - we always do the will of the Almighty, with joy always is the idea - and may the words of our mouths and our meditation be acceptable..."
After the special singing, the excited children passed by one by one and received the special certificate from the holy hands of our teacher, the Rav. Standing beside our teacher, the Rav, were the Cheder supervisor, R' Bukretzki, and the teachers, R' Haletovsky and R' Mendelson.
Our teacher, the Rav, in his special way, shone his countenance upon each and every one of the precious children, and on the face of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, one could see the satisfaction derived from the 'infants of the house of the Rabban' (schoolchildren), full of grace, receiving a certificate for their extensive knowledge in their studies. With a smile and encouragement for each one, our teacher, the Rav, presented the special certificate.
After the precious children had passed, the teachers came forward to be blessed personally by our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, and our teacher, the Rav, strengthened them to continue watering these young saplings in the way of our ancestors.
