"Everyone Needs One Hundred and Twenty Years to Fight the Sin of the Tree of Knowledge, to Fight the Snake!" • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you are sparks from the daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – yesterday after the Maariv (evening prayer) on Wednesday night, the 4th of Av, Parshas Devarim-Chazon:
"There are twenty-four limbs through which a slave goes out to freedom, and one must rule over these twenty-four limbs, for this is the essence of the matter. And every girl must know that her body is the body of the snake; these are 'kotnot or' (garments of skin) — we received the body from the snake. All the thoughts she has come from the snake; every boy and every girl must know that the thoughts they have are from the side of the snake, not from the side of holiness (Kedushah). This is not the true nature; her senses are not senses—they are demons and spirits (shedim and ruchot) that are impregnated within the woman, the girl, and the boy. Therefore, Esther separated the demons and adjured them, and she sent the demons to Ahasuerus, and Ahasuerus never touched her. And Darius, who was the son of Esther, was born from the female demon; he was not born from Queen Esther, because a woman can adjure all the demons and spirits that are within her. Because everything comes from the sin of the Tree of Knowledge (Chet Etz HaDa'as); everyone has a part in the sin of the Tree of Knowledge. Everyone needs to fight against the sin of the Tree of Knowledge, against the snake! One hundred and twenty years to fight against the snake!!"".
