"Fighting Day and Night" - Words of Holy Fire from Rav Berland shlit"a Demonstrating the Tzaddik's Mighty Battle Against Impurity

Powerful and awakening holy words from our teacher, the esteemed Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, to understand the holy battles that the tzaddik fights against the forces of impurity and the way of the Rav to fight for the success of the holy camp until the end - these words were spoken in April 2019, before anyone conceived of the coronavirus and all that is happening in the world.

Our teacher, the Rav, began and said

"The awakening gathering is for the sake of the Jewish people, to annul all the decrees upon the Jewish people, all the intermarriages, all the desecrations of Shabbat. We will not allow it, we will fight day and night, now we are going to fight for the Jewish people with fire and water. We will not rest or be silent until we annul all the decrees upon the Jewish people. We will not sleep or eat until we annul all the decrees. Like Aaron the priest who stopped the plague, who came with the Angel of Death, subdued him and laid him on the ground. Like Aaron the priest who did not sleep a minute and fought 24 hours with a spear in his hand, he did not leave the sword for a single second."

Fighting for Kedushah Until Our Last Drop of Blood

"We will be like Aaron the priest, fighting until our last drop of blood, as Moses said, "Whoever is for Hashem, come to me," we will not rest or be silent until we come to the holy land. There will be no blemishes of the covenant, and no blemishes of the eyes. Guarding the thought, as King David said, "Our sons are like plants grown in their youth, our daughters like cornerstones, carved in the structure of a palace" (Psalms 144:12). All the daughters will be like the structure of the palace, all will be like the stones of the Temple and the altar."

"We will fight to the exhaustion of the soul for the sanctity of His blessed name and will not be silent - until the Holy Temple of fire descends. Like Rabbi Zeira who brought down the Holy Temple of fire, like Yonatan ben Uziel who brought down the Holy Temple of fire, he was a man of war who fought to the exhaustion of the soul. We will fight until the last drop of blood like Aaron the priest who brought the Angel of Death to the ground. The Angel of Death pleaded with him to have mercy on him."

How can we go to Moses? He is always fighting me!

"Aaron said to the Angel of Death, come let us go to Moses our teacher, the angel asked how can we go to Moses? He is always fighting me! Moses grabbed him like a rooster by the neck and led him after him, and the Angel of Death was truly pitiful. Aaron had not a drop of mercy on him, the Jewish people went with Aaron and Moses our teacher, they fought the Angel of Death and defeated him - not a trace remained of him in this world or in the World to Come."

"Now the Angel of Death is pitiful without teeth and without eyes, he cried and pleaded for mercy. Moses our teacher, who is the pinnacle of mercy, did not have even a drop of mercy on the Angel of Death, he removed all his 248 limbs and 365 sinews and not a trace remained of him. "You shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven; do not forget" (Deuteronomy 25:19), Amalek cooled the boiling bath that must not be cooled."

We Do Not Deviate from the King's Path

"We do not give in to Amalek until he comes and asks for forgiveness from all the innocent souls, souls of tzaddikim, souls of children, how could he take them out of kedushah? We will not leave the good path when the evil inclination comes with all its cunning, with all its deceit, we will not be confused. We do not deviate, we do not slide from the king's path, we pray every morning Shacharit for three hours, Mincha for two hours, and Maariv for two and a half hours. Every prayer will be long like the prayer of Hannah who stood for three hours in the Amidah."

"Eli the priest asked Hannah why she was drunk, but she only cried and told Eli that he had no divine inspiration, I am a kosher woman, every woman is always kosher, Eli asked for forgiveness for suspecting she was drunk."
