His Hand Is Open to All Who Rise Early • Students of the “Breslov – Chochmah V’Daas” Yeshivah Who Wake Up Early Merit to Receive a Gift from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Since the beginning of the winter zman, a strengthening campaign has been taking place to encourage Friday Shacharis in the main hall of the “Breslov – Chochmah V’Daas” Yeshivah. The bochurim were promised that those who consistently rise early for Shacharis on Fridays would merit to enter further into the holy inner chamber to receive a gift from The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.

And indeed, last week—on Friday, Erev Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Beha’aloscha—the precious bochurim who rise early merited to enter The Rav’s home, shlit"a, to receive their gift. The Rav, shlit"a, was moved to hear how the bochurim, despite the challenge of sleep, merit to strengthen themselves like a lion—especially on Fridays, which are considered a time of slackening in the world of yeshivos—and to come to Shacharis in the yeshivah’s main hall. As mentioned, The Rav distributed to each and every bochur, with the radiant light of his holy countenance, the mussar sefer Mesillas Yesharim, authored by the Ramchal. It is well known, as brought in Sichos HaRan, that Rebbe Nachman zy"a praised learning from this holy sefer. In addition, to some of the bochurim The Rav gave various tefillos—for Torah study and for all the salvations a person needs.

Below is documentation of the distribution of the gifts to the precious bochurim:
