Joy in the House of the Tzaddikim • The Final Sheva Berachos for the Great Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a’s Great-Granddaughter, in His Holy Residence • Photo Gallery

On Sunday, 12 Adar, the joy of the final Sheva Berachos for the great-granddaughter of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, took place in his holy residence. She is the daughter of his grandson, R’ Naftali Zucker (may he live a long and good life), together with the esteemed groom, R’ Yisrael Chayim Shapira (may he live a long and good life), son of R’ Avraham Yaakov Shapira, grandson of the tzaddik Rabbi Shmuel Shapira zt"l.
The final Sheva Berachos meal began at 15:00. At 17:15, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, entered his residence and immediately began a fiery, blazing shiur on the holiness of the home and on the greatness of a chosson and kallah. He also spoke about the days of Purim. In addition, he expanded on the Gemara in Chullin regarding “Rabbah slaughtered Rabbi Zeira,” bringing all the approaches and explanations there.
After a shiur of nearly an hour of fiery words, The Rav shlit"a began singing and dancing in honor of the joy of the chosson and kallah. After close to half an hour, The Rav shlit"a signaled, and they began Shir HaMa’alos. During the zimun, with “D’vai haser…” in the melody, the grandfather, Rabbi Weinberger shlit"a, was honored. After Birchas HaMazon, he was also honored with the first two of the blessings. After that, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, was honored with all five of the remaining blessings. After the Sheva Berachos, The Rav blessed the chosson and kallah with a blessing of Mazal Tov, and he honored Rabbi Weinberger to begin a chazzanus segment at this “joy in the house of the tzaddikim,” with “Yishtabach.” After the segment—lasting many long minutes—The Rav shlit"a rose from the Sheva Berachos celebration with the singing of “Od yishama…”
“A voice of song and salvation is in the tents of the tzaddikim”
