Judge's Decision - Rav Berland to be Released Tomorrow

The judge released Rav Berland to house arrest, contrary to the police's request. Judge Kobo determined that the confrontations have already been conducted, and it is unknown when the complex investigative action announced by the police during the hearing will be carried out and completed; therefore, he can be released to an alternative form of detention. The judge called upon his followers not to gather around the house for fear of disturbing the peace. The police requested a stay of execution in order to file an appeal. The delay is until tomorrow afternoon. The judge requested an additional 200,000 NIS for the bail—a total of 700,000 NIS.
Crowds of Rav Berland's followers broke into dancing and mighty singing upon hearing Judge Kobo's decision regarding the release of the Rav to an alternative form of detention outside the courthouse building in Rishon LeZion. The excitement ahead of his release tomorrow, following the appeal the police announced they would file, is very great.
