As our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, has said over the years - the holy gathering of our Rebbe begins on the night of Zochor Bris before Rosh Hashanah, continues on Rosh Hashanah, and concludes on Yom Kippur.
Our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, placed great importance on participating in the Yom Kippur prayer gathering in Jerusalem and always requested that the minyan be large and dignified.
Last year, we merited to gather together in the holy prayers of Yom Kippur, in the large sukkah that was specially built for the broad public of Breslov Shuvu Banim students. The prayer sukkah was established in the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak chassidut compound specifically for Yom Kippur prayers.
This year too, dedicated activists are working on establishing a prayer area that can accommodate the broad public coming from all over the country to fulfill the words of our teacher Rav Berland and continue the holy gathering in the prayers of Yom Kippur.
For this purpose, there are enormous expenses of hundreds of thousands of shekels (which go solely for this purpose) including:
- Renting the large compound from the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak chassidut at a cost of tens of thousands of shekels.
- Building and establishing a large and suitable prayer area including many seating places, a prayer platform, public restrooms, etc.
- Air conditioning.
- Generators to adequately meet all necessary uses.

In addition to the many expenses of establishing the prayer building, there is a distribution of shopping vouchers to hundreds of needy families of Torah scholars, students, and supporters of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a.
There is no mitzvah more important than this before Yom Kippur; these are families who, without this help, have nothing to eat on the holiday, and it is a great obligation to bring them simcha (joy), and to fulfill the Torah's commandment to bring joy to the poor on the holiday.
The distribution consists of five hundred vouchers of four hundred shekels each for holiday needs.
Of course, it is possible to specify in the donation link if you wish the donation to go only to one of the two options: 1. The Yom Kippur prayer building. 2. Holiday shopping vouchers for needy families.

One can merit before Yom Kippur in another important mitzvah - donating for the mantle of the Torah scroll of our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, and the parochet.
Baruch Hashem, our teacher Rav will have a small minyan for prayer at his home during the upcoming holidays. Currently, the Rav shlit"a has a Torah scroll without a mantle and without a parochet, and as is known, the custom for the holiday days is to make a white mantle for the Torah scroll.
The cost of the mantle and parochet for the Torah scroll of our teacher Rav Berland shlit"a is 4,300 shekels.
Those interested in meriting this great mitzvah can indicate this in the attached donation link.
