Prayer Article from Morinu HaRav shlit"a

Mar 8, 2026•עורך ראשיPrayer

The eve of Tisha B'Av, and then the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) of fire must descend.
"Ze'ira" corresponds to a small Aleph (Aleph ze'ira). The word Aleph (אלף) equals 111, which together with "ze'ira" (זעירא) equaling 288, totals 399. This is the secret of Rabbi Akiva (רבי עקיבה), whose name equals 399 (where "Akiva" equals 187). Afterward, when they combed his flesh with iron combs (during his martyrdom), he merited the letter Aleph (א). For this reason, he is called Rabbi Akiva with an Aleph (עקיבא). Then he merited the secret of the letter Shin (ש) of the Tefillin with three heads, as it is written in Torah 85, corresponding to Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. And [he also merited] the secret of the letter Shin (ש) of the Tefillin with four heads, and then he merited the secret of David, Moshe, Aharon, and Yosef.
