Prayer for the Molad of Nissan 5782 3:54 — Friday afternoon

Master of the world, Almighty—nothing You plan can ever be withheld from You. At the molad of Nissan, all the gates of the heavens open, and all the pathways of wisdom are revealed; all the lights of wisdom and understanding flow down. Then it becomes possible to see Hashem face to face, as it is written regarding Nadav and Avihu: “They saw G‑d, and they ate and drank.” They truly merited the level of seeing Hashem face to face—a revelation like that never was, and never will be again.

Therefore, at the molad of the month of Nissan—when all the gates of the Heichal open, and all the gates of the heavens open, and it is possible to see Hashem face to face—grant us as well the merit to see, at the molad of the month of Nissan, Hashem face to face. Through this, may all the thirty-two pathways of wisdom and all the fifty gates of understanding be revealed to us. And may we merit the building of the Beis HaMikdash—the Beis HaMikdash of actual fire—immediately at this molad, in the blink of an eye. Amen, eternally, forever and ever.
