Prayer for the New Moon of Nissan 5779 by the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland
shlit"a

Master of the Universe, All-Powerful, at the Molad of the month of Nisan, Thursday night, the 29th of Adar II, 12:04 (00:04) and 17 chalakim, 5779.
Please Hashem, at the moment of the Molad, when all the gates of heaven are opened, and all 50 gates of Binah (Understanding) and all 32 paths of Chochmah (Wisdom) [are opened], and then Hashem bestows all goodness, and endless flows of spirituality and physicality, and all 13 gates of the Temple are opened wide, even though it is after midnight, and then "My soul clings to You; Your right hand supports me," and then one emerges from the impurity of tzara'at completely.
And therefore, on the Shabbat after the Molad, we immediately read the Parashah of Tzara'at, because with the Molad begins the Parashat HaChodesh, and the Parashah of Brit Milah, and the Parashah of the woman who gives birth, because this Parashah and the Molad that precedes it are weighed against the seven Clouds of Glory that began on the 15th of Nisan, as it is written: "And Hashem went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light to go by day and night; the pillar of cloud did not depart by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people."
For at the Molad of the month of Nisan, which is before Rosh Chodesh Nisan, on the 1st of Nisan, they anoint all the vessels of the Mishkan (Tabernacle), and Aharon the High Priest and his four sons with the anointing oil, and about this it is said: "They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall enter the King's palace. Instead of your fathers shall be your sons; you shall make them princes in all the land. I will make Your name remembered in all generations; therefore, the nations shall praise You forever and ever. G-d is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea."
