Prayer - The Hillula (Yahrtzeit) of the Holy Or HaChaim zy"a

Master of the Universe, Omnipotent One, from whom no purpose can be withheld! In the merit of the holy and awesome Or HaChaim (Rabbi Chaim ibn Attar), whose light illuminated from one end of the world to the other. He merited the secret of the primordial wisdom of the Kesser (the highest spiritual realm of the Crown), attaining the 'treasure of kings' (Segulas Melachim). For all the kings in the world draw all their power and might from the secret of the 'treasure of kings,' which the holy and awesome Or HaChaim merited. Once, he wandered lost in the deserts, and it was then that he merited the secret of the 'treasure of kings,' which conquers all the Kelippos (forces of spiritual impurity). Any kingdom in the world that receives from this secret of the 'treasure of kings' is automatically nullified by the sheer abundance of its light. The holy Or HaChaim attained the secret of the cantillation marks 'Zarka, Makaf, Holech, Shofar, Segolta,' through which he merited the Sefirah (Divine emanation) of the secret of the 'treasure of kings,' and the secret of the supernal chamber called the 'treasure of kings.' For the holy Or HaChaim merited the secret of the slingshot—the secret of the stone within the sling, which is filled with the light of the Ein Sof (the Infinite).

For in the merit of the holy Or HaChaim, who was surrounded by fire day and night, You revealed to him all the secrets of the Leviathan. As it is written (Isaiah 27:1): 'On that day, Hashem will punish with His harsh, great, and mighty sword Leviathan the elusive serpent, and Leviathan the twisting serpent, and He will slay the dragon that is in the sea.' The greatest wonder of all is the soul of the holy Or HaChaim, for he possessed the soul of David HaMelech (King David), peace be upon him. As the Baal Shem Tov zy"a said, the soul of David HaMelech underwent ibbur (spiritual impregnation) within the holy and awesome Or HaChaim. At every single moment, we see the soul of the holy and awesome Or HaChaim, which is the soul of David HaMelech, peace be upon him, which was destined to bring the Geulah (Redemption). The holy Or HaChaim rectified all 288 fallen sparks of holiness, which correspond to four times the Divine Name of A"B (the Name of Hashem expanded to the numerical value of 72). The Or HaChaim rectified the Name of A"B four times: the A"B of Asiyah (Action), the A"B of Yetzirah (Formation), the A"B of Beriah (Creation), and the A"B of Atzilus (Emanation). Rivkah (Rebecca) rectified the Name of A"B only three times, corresponding to Asiyah, Yetzirah, and Beriah. This equals nine times 24, which shares the gematria (numerical value) of Aryeh (Lion, 216), because Rivkah was the lion in the Divine Chariot. However, the holy Or HaChaim rectified all four levels of the Name of A"B. Through this, he rectified the A"B of Atzilus, upon which the entire Geulah depends.
