Prayers for the Health of the Rav and the Rebbetzin
Master of the Universe, Almighty, send the Rav a complete (shleimah 375) healing (refuah 292 = 667) to his legs, and to all his 248 limbs and 365 sinews, to his entire Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chayah, and Yechidah (levels of the soul). May he merit the pure breath of our holy and awesome Rebbe (Rebbe Nachman), and merit to have pure (tehor 220) eyes (einayim 180 = 400), like Eliyahu (52) the Prophet (hanavi 68) remembered (zachur 233) for good (latov 47 = 400). In this merit, may he merit to see Hashem face to face, as it is said, "When shall I come (10) and appear before God." In the merit of King David (24), peace be upon him, and Serach (508) the daughter of (402) Asher (501 = 1435). Through this, may the verse be fulfilled in him: Hashem is One (1), "Fortunate (ashrei 511) is he who considers (maskil 400) the (el 31) poor (dal 34); on the day of (beyom 58) evil (ra'ah 275) Hashem will deliver him (yemaltehu 100 Hashem 26 = 1436)", "And the salvation of (uteshuat 1182) the righteous (tzaddikim 254) is from Hashem (me'Hashem)" = 1436.
Master of the Universe, have mercy on me so that the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer ben Etya, will be strong, healthy, and whole until one hundred and twenty years, with health and strength. May he come every Shabbat to the Yeshiva, and dwell among us always, Amen. Master of the Universe, please sweeten the harsh judgments from upon my Rebbe and teacher, and turn all his accusers into defenders, and all his adversaries into advocates of merit. For You are Almighty and no purpose is withheld from You. Please open his mind, as it is written, "But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining ever brighter until the full light of day." May he never again know of any ailment or pain forever, and in this merit, may we merit the complete Geulah (Redemption), and the building of the Holy Temple speedily in our days, Amen.
Master of the Universe, Almighty, 'Creator of cures, awesome in praises', heal the Rav and the Rebbetzin in the blink of an eye, in the merit of the Tzaddik Yesod Olam (Righteous Foundation of the World), Rebbe Nachman ben Simcha ben Feige. May the verse be fulfilled in us, "Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His loving-kindness is eternal," and may we merit the liturgical poem, "They shall never be put to shame, all who take refuge in You." And may we merit the verse, "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, show me your appearance, let me hear your voice."
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant me the merit to unify Your Name in every moment and second, in every single movement, in every single breath. May I merit to see You face to face, in every moment and second, as it is written, "For they shall see eye to eye when Hashem returns to Zion." May I merit to pray day and night without ceasing for a moment or a second, at the Western Wall, and in every place, during the time of prayer, and while hearing the shofars, for the healing of the Rav and the Rebbetzin. May the angels Nuriel, Refael, Gavriel, Michael, and Or Peniel—whose initials spell Argaman (purple)—accompany them in every moment and second to every place they go. Send them a complete and immediate healing, from Your open and expansive hand, "For You are God, King, a faithful and merciful Healer." As it is said, "I, and not an angel; I, and not a seraph; I am Hashem, I am He and no other." Send them a complete healing from Heaven in the blink of an eye, to all their 248 limbs and 365 sinews. May they be healthy and robust forever and for all eternity, like our holy and awesome Rebbe (Rebbe Nachman), and like Eliyahu the Prophet, remembered for good. May they merit to enter the Garden of Eden with their physical bodies, like Serach the daughter of Asher, Eved Melech the Kushite, and Eliezer the servant of Avraham, who entered the Garden of Eden with their physical bodies in the blink of an eye. May all the terrible sufferings that the Rav and the Rebbetzin endure in every moment and second atone for us and for the entire nation of Israel. Through this, may they merit that their bodies become completely purified, like the body of Yehoshua ben Levi, who merited to subdue the Angel of Death, take from him the terrible sword he held, leap with his body into the Garden of Eden, and swear that he would never leave there. "The nation that says, 'I am a wall,' pure as the sun, exiled and turned away, likened to a palm tree, embraced and clinging to You." And may the verse be fulfilled in me: "And they blessed Rivkah, and said to her, 'Our sister, may you become thousands of myriads, and may your offspring inherit the gate of their foes.'"
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant us the merit, Merciful Father (Av 3), Good Father (Abba Tov 17), to practice Hisbodedus (secluded personal prayer) every day for an hour without ceasing for a moment or a second. May I concentrate during Hisbodedus with all my 365 sinews and 248 limbs, with my entire Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chayah, and Yechidah. Please, 'He Who causes salvations (yeshuot 792) to sprout (matzmiach 188), Creator (borei 209) of cures (refuot 693), awesome (nora 257)'. May I merit to heal the Rav from all illnesses, and may the Rav show me a sign that all my prayers have been accepted. May I know that the Rav hears every sigh, every prayer, and every cry. Grant us the merit (zakenu 87) of the verse, "Set me (simeni 410) as a seal (kachotam 474) upon (al 100) your heart (libecha 52), as a seal (kachotam 474) upon (al 100) your arm (zeroecha 303 = 5000), for love is as strong as death, jealousy is as harsh as the grave."
Master of the Universe, Almighty, nullify the decree of exile from the Land for the Rav and the Rebbetzin. May the Rebbetzin merit a holy body from the Garden of Eden, like Batya the daughter of Pharaoh and Serach the daughter of Asher, and may she have no affliction, illness, sorrow, or distress. May the bodies of the Rav and the Rebbetzin shine like the Urim and Tumim, like the ruby, topaz, emerald, carbuncle, sapphire, diamond, jacinth, agate, and amethyst. May the Rav and the Rebbetzin merit the intellect (sechel 350) of our holy and awesome Rebbe (Rebbe Nachman), and merit the body of Serach (506) the daughter of Asher, and merit the body of Eliyahu the Prophet, remembered for good, who ascends and descends thousands of times in a single day. Please, Merciful Father, the Good (hatov 17) Father (ha'av 3), Who causes salvations (yeshuot 792) to sprout (matzmiach 186), Creator (borei 209) of cures (refuot 257), awesome (nora 257) in praises (tehillot 841), heal the Rav and the Rebbetzin in the blink of an eye. May the verse be fulfilled in all of us: "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, show me (har'ini 276) your (et 401) appearance (mar'ayich 271), let me hear (hashmi'ini 495) your (et 401) voice (kolech 156 = 5000), for your voice is sweet and your appearance is comely."
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant me the merit to absorb everything, to accept everything with love, and not to fear anything, nor ever despair. May I believe that Hashem watches over every step and stride, over every single breath, and may I feel Hashem in my entire Nefesh, Ruach, Neshamah, Chayah, and Yechidah, in every single movement of mine. I will pray day and night (= 177) for the Rav and the Rebbetzin, that they should always be healthy and always strong, and live with us for all 120 years. May they enter the Garden of Eden with us, with soul and body, in robust health, and never be ill. May they always be clear-minded and lucid, with healthy and clear logic, always balanced to do the will of their Maker and the desire of their Creator. May they always run to do the will of Hashem without any weariness or fatigue at all, and may I always be swift to do the will of my Creator, at the peak of perfection.
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, please heal Eliezer ben Etya in the blink of an eye, 'for (ki 30) Torah (611) and Mitzvot (548), statutes (chukim 164) and judgments (umishpatim 485) You have taught (limadeta 474) us (otanu 463)' = 2775. Prolong his days and years so that he may increase his Torah study. Fulfill in us and in him the verse, "Heal me (refa'eni 341), Hashem (26), and I shall be healed (ve'erafei 288); save me (hoshieni 451), and I shall be saved (ve'ivashea 388), for (ki 30) You (atah 406) are my praise (tehillati 845)" = 2775 (Jeremiah 17:14). May he merit to always be healthy for the service of Hashem, may He be blessed, and to disseminate Torah to the multitudes. Forgive and pardon him for all his iniquities that he has sinned before You from his very beginning until this day, in all his reincarnations, and especially in the sin of the Tree of Knowledge. Grant him the merit of complete teshuvah (repentance) in every moment and second, until he merits to prolong his days and years with the entire House of Israel, from now and forever.
Please, Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant me the merit to pray for the healing of the Rav, especially to pray for his hand, in the aspect of "And his hands were steady (emunah) until the setting of the sun." For the fact that the Rav is ill in his hands comes from the blemish in our emunah (faith). The moment we strengthen ourselves in emunah, and become strong in emunah, the Rav's hand will also be healed in the blink (keheref 305) of an eye (ayin 130 = 435), in the merit of the Tzaddik (209) Yesod (80) Olam (146 = 435), Rebbe (268) Nachman (148) ben (52) Simcha (353) ben (52) Feige (94 = 967). And the angels Nuriel (297), Gavriel (246), Michael (107), and Refael (317 = 967) will accompany us day and night (= 177), and through this we will enter with our bodies into the Garden (Gan 53) of Eden (Eden 124 = 177). This is the secret of 'Whoever prays for his friend is answered first', because the true friend is the Torah scholar, 'and the wife of a Torah scholar (chaver) is like a Torah scholar'. Therefore, may we merit to pray for the salvation and healing of the Tzaddikim, and in this merit, we too will be answered first, and You will listen to the voice of our supplications, our cries, and our screams. Please, Master of the Universe, Almighty, send a complete healing to our teacher and Rebbe, Eliezer ben Etya, in the blink (keheref 305) of an eye (ayin 130 = 435). May the Rav be the healthiest, and be able to pray, and through this may we merit that Mashiach (359) ben (52) David (24 = 435) will be revealed in the blink (keheref 305) of an eye (ayin 130 = 435). And Rebbe (268) Nachman (148) ben (52) Simcha (353) ben (52) Feige (94 = 967), and the angels Nuriel (297), Gavriel (246), Michael (107), and Refael (317 = 967) will accompany him day (yomam 96) and night (valaylah 81 = 177), and he will enter with his body into the Garden (Gan 53) of Eden (Eden 124 = 177).
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, grant us the merit to leave the hospital as quickly as possible. May our departure {his departure} be with the utmost speed, in robust health of body and soul, so that it will not cause us any neglect of Torah and Mitzvot, as happened during our illness, when we missed prayer quorums (minyanim)—may His great Name be blessed forever and to all eternity—and our fixed study sessions. This causes us great sorrow, for the entire purpose is to establish fixed times for Torah, and when we are sick, all the schedules and fixed sessions are canceled, to our great sorrow. Therefore, help us, Hashem our God, that we may always be healthy and strong in our 248 limbs and 365 sinews, so that we can always serve You with greater vigor and greater strength, and always continue to increase in the service of Hashem and the performance of Mitzvot. Therefore, help us to leave {that our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya, should already leave} the hospital. We will cast all our hope solely upon You, and not upon the doctors who want us to believe in them. Due to our many iniquities, we actually only believe in the doctors instead of believing in You, and the Ramban (on Parshat Bechukotai) says that this is a Torah prohibition. May we always remember that the doctors are merely Your messengers to do Your will, and they only heal as Your emissaries and with Your permission, as it is said, "And he shall surely heal," from which we learn that permission was given to the doctor to heal. For a person does not stub his finger below unless it is proclaimed from above, and therefore the doctors cannot move a finger or an eyelid unless Hashem, God, gives them the authorization to do so. So too, help us to believe directly and solely in You, and thus we will never need them, and we will be released immediately from the hospital, and we will never have to enter there again, and we will never require them. We will not need the gifts of flesh and blood from doctors, nor their loans, but only Your full, open, holy, and expansive hand. For, as it were, Hashem, may He be blessed, gave them the power, but the power is solely from You, and it is only Yours, for You only want to awaken us to have emunah in You. Help us to bypass this terrible decree, and stop believing in the doctors, and only believe in You. May we leave the hospital immediately, and receive the discharge papers immediately, and leave here immediately, we, our children, and our children's children forever. And especially {may our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya, leave} may we leave the {heart} disease and never be sick again forever.
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, please send a complete (shleimah 375) healing (refuah 292) to the kidney (lakilyah 95 = 762). By my meriting to be one who "loves (ohev 8) days (yamim 100) to see (lir'ot 637) good (tov 17 = 762)," and by my being strong in the dialectic study (pilpul 228) of students (talmidim 534 = 762), I will merit a complete healing for my kidney {for that of our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya}. And by my meriting that You fulfill in me 'cleave (dabek 106) our hearts (libenu 88) to Your Mitzvot (bemitzvotecha 568 = 762),' I will merit a complete healing for my kidney {for that of our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya}. And by my knowing that only Hashem is (Hu 12) the Ruler (hashalit 354) over (al 100) the earth (ha'aretz 296 = 762), You will send a complete healing to my kidney {to that of our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya}.
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, You are the 'support (mishan 460) and trust (umivtach 65) for the righteous (latzaddikim 284 + 1 = 810)'. "God (El 31), God (Elohim 86), Hashem (26)", send a complete (shleimah 375) healing (refuah 292 = 810) to {our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya}, so that he will not need a kidney transplant, and his kidneys {and his kidney} will heal completely, and function properly day and night, for all one hundred and twenty years. Father (Av 3), unique (yachid 32) of His kind (bemino 108), send a complete (shleimah 375) healing (refuah 292 = 810), in the blink (keheref 305) of an eye (ayin 130 = 435), in the merit of the Tzaddik (209) Yesod (80) Olam (146 = 435). In this merit, may I merit to love You with a love (ahavah 13) without (beli 42) boundaries (meitzarim 380 = 435) day and night, without ceasing, Amen.
Master of the Universe, grant me the merit of the Song of Songs, the song that surpasses all songs, the song that flows from the innermost point, the Foundation Stone, the root of all creation, the song that all creations sing, the song of Jerusalem, the song of the Future to Come. Please, Merciful and Gracious One, heal my lung {that of our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya} in the blink of an eye, for it corresponds to the lion in the Divine Chariot, which represents three loving-kindnesses (Chasadim). Chesed x 3 = lung (re'ah) = 216. Shower upon me all the loving-kindnesses from the root of the Supernal Chesed, "flowing from Lebanon," from the whiteness of the brain, the 32 paths of Wisdom (Chochmah), the 50 gates of Understanding (Binah). Please, Merciful and Gracious One, create for me {for our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya} a new lung and a new heart, as it is written, "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." May I merit, through the lung blowing upon the heart, a spirit of prophecy, the Divine Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh), as it is written in Joel (3:1), "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My spirit." Please, Merciful and Gracious One, Almighty, Victor over all victors, please act according to Your abundant mercy so that I will not be less than the Egyptian maidservant, who merited to see at the Red Sea more than Ezekiel the Prophet. Please, Merciful and Gracious One, grant me the merit of the level of the holy Patriarchs and the holy Prophets. May I merit to see the holy Shechinah (Divine Presence), as it is written in the Gemara (Shabbat 12b), "The Shechinah rests above the head of a sick person." May I merit the revelation of the Shechinah every day, and not be less than Abba Umana, who merited every day a heavenly voice from Heaven saying, 'Peace be upon you, Abba Umana.'
Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, heal {our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya} in the blink of an eye. May he merit from now on a holy body from the Garden of Eden, and merit to be like Batya (417) the daughter of (402) Pharaoh (355), and Serach (514) the daughter of (402) Asher (501), and Yehoshua (397) ben (52) Levi (46 = 3086), who entered the Garden of Eden with their bodies. Please, God (Elohim 86), Merciful Father, 'Creator (borei 209) of cures (refuot 693), awesome (nora 257) in praises (tehillot 841), Who causes salvations (yeshuot 792) to sprout (matzmiach 188)' = 3086. May he merit to be healthy and whole in the blink of an eye, and to praise the Name of Hashem day and night, as it is written, "Let every soul praise God, Halleluyah" (86). May he merit to be holy and pure with the holiness of the holy Shabbat, as it is said, 'The day (yom 56) is holy (kadosh 410) from its arrival (mibo'o 49) until (ve'ad 80) its departure (tzeto 497); the entire (kol 50) congregation of (adat 474) Israel (Yisrael 541) shall observe (ya'asu 386) it (oto 413)'. May the heart return to function well and heal the entire body, and may he merit a holy and pure heart (lev 32 = 3086). Revive him in the blink of an eye, for You are living (chai 18) and reviving (umechayeh 69), and revive him completely anew, as it is written, "And Hashem (26) God (Elohim 86) formed (vayitzer 316) the man (et 401 ha'adam 50) of dust (afar 350) from (min 90) the ground (ha'adamah 55), and He blew (vayipach 104) into his nostrils (be'apav 99) the soul of (nishmat 790) life (chayim 68); and the man (ha'adam 50) became (vayehi 31) a living (chayah 23) soul (lenefesh 460)" = 3086.
Master of the Universe, Merciful and Gracious One, Almighty, from Whom no purpose is withheld, please save in Your abundant mercy the Tzaddik of the generation, who suffers terrible afflictions solely because of the iniquities of the generation, and because of our numerous sins and transgressions. Therefore, terrible afflictions are currently passing over him due to our multitude of terrible sins and transgressions, which have intensified the terrible judgments of Mantzephach (the five final letters of the Hebrew alphabet representing strict judgment). These equal the gematria of Par (bull, 280), which is the gematria of Sukar (sugar) = Par. All this is because of our many and terrible iniquities that intensify from day to day, and through this, the heart of the entire world has been afflicted, he who all the days of his life was but dust and ashes, as Avraham Avinu said, "I am but dust and ashes" (The gematria of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, for he is comprised of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, and the two Mashiachs: Avraham 248, Yitzchak 208, Yaakov 182 + 1 = 638; dust [afar 350] and ashes [va'efer 287] = 638; Mashiach 358 ben 52 David 14 and ben 58 Yosef 156 = 638). Please, Merciful and Gracious One, have mercy on {our teacher the Rav, Eliezer ben Etya}, in Your abundant and infinite mercy. When You heal him with a complete healing, Your Name will be sanctified in all the worlds, this world and the World to Come, and then the verse will be fulfilled, "Then they will say among the nations, 'Hashem has done great things with these.'"
Master of the Universe, have mercy on my Rebbe and teacher, Rabbi Eliezer ben Etya shlit"a, that he may live and not die. Master of the Universe, have mercy on my Rebbe and teacher, Rabbi Eliezer ben Etya shlit"a (to cry out until the soul is exhausted), who is entirely bound and tied in chains, wounded in body and soul, for You are bringing upon him all the sufferings in the world, all the judgments. The strength of the bearer has stumbled. Have mercy on him, for he is willing to take upon himself all the sufferings in the world, and to stroll every day through all the Heavenly Halls, and to pass every single day through all seven compartments of Gehenna, with endless self-sacrifice, with literal mesirut nefesh (self-sacrifice), with afflictions of the body and afflictions of the soul, with endless, infinite prayers, with supplications, with requests, and with mortifications. Master of the Universe, oy, have mercy on him, have mercy (to say until one feels they are falling), have mercy on the entire holy congregation, have mercy on the 36 hidden Tzaddikim in the generation who take upon themselves all the sufferings of this world, oy oy oy (until one faints). Master of the Universe, have mercy on him and on us, and nullify from upon us and from upon the entire nation of Israel all the terrible judgments, that we may live and not die. Have mercy on the nation of Israel, have mercy on the nation of Israel, "Behold, we are in Your hand like clay in the hand of the potter." Have mercy on my Rebbe and teacher, Rabbi Eliezer ben Etya shlit"a, have mercy on us and on Your entire nation Israel. Give us hope so that we do not waste our days and years in vanity and emptiness. Have mercy on the Congregation of Israel, Your holy nation that is drawn after You, a bride called with sweetness in Your love and compassion. Nullify all the judgments from upon my Rebbe and teacher, Rabbi Eliezer ben Etya shlit"a, from upon us, and from upon the entire nation of Israel, physically and spiritually. Save us from the fire of anger burning within us day and night, through which we ignite the fire of Gehenna, and awaken judgments upon ourselves and upon Your nation, the House of Israel. Give us hope and let us not die, and may we fulfill in this year, "Avenge the spilled blood of Your servants." May we merit to distribute the prayers of the Rav, and to read them day and night without ceasing for a second, and to study all the prayers in great depth with their sources in the Gemara, Midrash, Zohar, and Etz Chaim. For the main thing is to distribute the prayers until every single Jew has these prayers, and to distribute them with self-sacrifice, and to study them with self-sacrifice. Through this, we will be included in the Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon (the highest primordial spiritual realm), and through this, the Geulah will come immediately, and we will be saved from the war of Gog and Magog. For Hashem expects that every single Jew will have these prayers that were written with supreme self-sacrifice, of which we have no understanding or comprehension whatsoever. For only in the Future to Come will a tiny fraction of a trillionth of their greatness and secrets be revealed to us, as well as the power to immediately enact all that is written in them, all of which are drawn from the Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon, from the secret of the pure Menorah. Regarding this, the Kedushat Levi says on Parshat Terumah that the light of the Menorah is drawn from the Hidden Light that cannot be clothed in this world at all. In this merit, the Rav will continue to live like Yocheved (Ramban on Genesis 46:15) for 250 years, for Yocheved lived 210 + 40 years of the desert until they entered the Land, and she was buried in the land of the Galilee near Tiberias. For these prayers are like a lamp (Ner) for the entire world to search in the King's treasuries, and to reveal all the secrets of the Torah. Through this, the Rav will live Ner (250) years, for every person can live Ner years, for the Geulah will be, and then Mashiach ben David will be revealed in perfection, and the Holy Temple of fire will descend. In this merit, may we merit the coming of our righteous Mashiach, and the complete Geulah speedily, Amen and Amen.

The Tikkun HaKlali
Prayer before reciting the ten Psalms of the Tikkun HaKlali
Master of the Universe, Almighty, I have come before You with supplication and request, with knocking knees, and my whole body trembling, as I come, Hashem, may He be blessed, to read the 'Ten Chapters' revealed by "Rebbe Nachman ben Simcha ben Feige," the Gaon and Tzaddik Yesod Olam. For with these Psalms "You founded heaven and earth," for they are emanated from the supernal kisses of Abba and Imma (supernal Father and Mother), from a continuous unification. "And You devise plans so that no one will be banished from You," and every single day You send new thoughts of teshuvah. Therefore, You established these ten Psalms so that we can return to You in truth, and see You face to face in truth, as it is said, "When shall I come and appear before God." Please, Hashem, "Who watches the wicked and desires his justification," have pity and compassion on my wretched soul. Have pity, be gracious to me, and save me from the blemishes of the Covenant (sexual purity). "Rescue me from the mire, let me not sink; let me be rescued from my enemies and from the depths of water. Let not the floodwaters sweep me away, nor the deep swallow me up, nor the pit close its mouth over me." For this is why You revealed to our holy and awesome Rebbe these ten chapters, to save Your nation Israel from the blemishes of the Covenant, from the strong, harsh, and bitter sword of the Angel of Death, which has two edges, and from the bitter and terrible drop that drips from the harsh and bitter sword of the Angel of Death. For there is no blemish in the world more terrible than one who blemishes his Covenant, Heaven forbid, whom they lead through the path of Gehenna, and all scream with terrible voices, "Give, give!" Save me from their harsh terror, save me from the angels of destruction who are more cruel than snakes and scorpions. Save me from their bitter judgment of ultimate bitterness, save me from bitter waters, from defiling waters. Have pity and mercy, have pity and compassion on me from their harsh and terrible judgment. Therefore, You emanated and brought these ten awesome chapters, to be saved from all the harsh and bitter judgments, and to do true teshuvah in their merit, so that I will never again blemish my Covenant forever, and I will do a supernal and true teshuvah in the blink of an eye. May I merit, in the merit of the ten Psalms, a true and complete teshuvah, and never again repeat my disgraceful deeds, Heaven forbid. I will no longer return to folly, and I will no longer return to my disgraceful deeds. May I merit to sanctify myself in holiness and purity, and to reach, in the merit of the ten Psalms, such a holiness that has never existed before, and may I merit to always add holiness upon holiness. In the merit of these ten Psalms, may I merit to refill all the awesome Names that I have blemished. Please, Hashem, in the merit of these ten Psalms, be with me always, stand at my right hand and support me, and forgive, pardon, and absolve me for everything, "Like the eyes of a servant to his master, like the eyes of a maidservant to her mistress." From today on, be with me always, in a way that I can rectify all that I have corrupted and all that I have blemished. In the merit of the ten Psalms, I will ascend to the Supernal World without any blemish or deficiency. May I merit, in the merit of the ten Psalms, to rectify all my sins and transgressions with the ultimate perfection, beyond which there is no perfection, 'and they shall not be remembered, nor shall they be visited upon the heart forever.' "And You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea, and they will not come to mind forever." "For to You, Hashem, I call, and to Hashem I make supplication." "I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my distress before Him." "What profit is there in my blood, in my going down to the pit? Will the dust thank You? Will it declare Your truth?" I will do complete teshuvah for all my sins and transgressions, and they will not come to mind forever.
I hereby bind myself, in reciting these ten Psalms, to all the true Tzaddikim of our generation, and to all the true Tzaddikim who dwell in the dust, the holy ones who are in the earth, and especially to the true and holy Tzaddik, Tzaddik Yesod Olam, the flowing brook, the source of wisdom, joy, and emunah, Rebbe Nachman ben Simcha ben Feige. May his merit protect us and all of Israel, Amen.
Come, let us sing joyously to Hashem, let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation. Let us greet Him with thanksgiving, with songs of praise let us shout for joy to Him. For Hashem is a great God, and a great King above all heavenly powers.
I hereby prepare my mouth to thank, praise, and glorify my Creator, for the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Shechinah, in awe and love, through the Hidden and Concealed One, in the name of all Israel.
6 טז 5
Michtam of David. Guard me, O God, for I have taken refuge in You.
You have said to Hashem: "You are my Lord; my goodness is not incumbent upon You."
As for the holy ones who are in the earth, they are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.
May the sorrows of those who hasten after another [god] multiply; I will not pour their libations of blood, nor will I take their names upon my lips.
Hashem is my allotted portion and my cup; You guide my destiny.
Portions have fallen to me in pleasant places; indeed, a beautiful inheritance is mine.
I will bless Hashem Who has counseled me; even at night my intellect instructs me.
I have set Hashem before me always; because He is at my right hand, I shall not falter.
Therefore my heart rejoices and my soul is glad; my flesh, too, will dwell in safety.
For You will not abandon my soul to the grave; You will not allow Your pious one to see the pit.
You will make known to me the path of life; the fullness of joys in Your presence, delights at Your right hand forever.
6 לב 5
Of David, a Maskil. Fortunate is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Fortunate is the man to whom Hashem does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my anguished roaring all day long.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my sap was turned into the droughts of summer. Selah.
I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to Hashem," and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this let every pious one pray to You at a time when You may be found; surely, when the great waters overflow, they will not reach him.
You are a hiding place for me; You preserve me from distress; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Do not be like a horse or a mule, without understanding, whose mouth must be controlled with bit and bridle, lest they come near you.
Many are the agonies of the wicked, but he who trusts in Hashem, loving-kindness surrounds him.
Rejoice in Hashem and be glad, O righteous ones; and sing joyously, all you upright of heart.
6 מא 5
For the conductor, a psalm of David.
Fortunate is he who considers the poor; on the day of evil Hashem will deliver him.
Hashem will preserve him and keep him alive; he will be fortunate on earth, and You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
Hashem will support him on the bed of illness; You have overturned his entire bed in his sickness.
I said, "Hashem, be gracious to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You."
My enemies speak evil of me: "When will he die and his name perish?"
And if one comes to see me, he speaks falsehood; his heart gathers iniquity to itself; he goes outside and speaks of it.
All who hate me whisper together against me; against me they plot evil:
"A deadly thing is poured into him, and now that he lies down, he will not rise again."
Even my ally in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.
But You, Hashem, be gracious to me and raise me up, that I may repay them.
By this I know that You delight in me, that my enemy does not triumph over me.
And as for me, You uphold me in my integrity, and You set me before You forever.
Blessed is Hashem, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
6 מב 5
For the conductor, a Maskil of the sons of Korach.
As a deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: "When shall I come and appear before God?"
My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all day long, "Where is your God?"
These things I remember, and I pour out my soul within me: how I passed on with the throng, leading them to the House of God, with a voice of joyous song and thanksgiving, a celebrating multitude.
Why are you downcast, my soul, and why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvations of His presence.
O my God, my soul is downcast within me; therefore I remember You from the land of Jordan and the peaks of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.
Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me.
By day Hashem will command His loving-kindness, and at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
I will say to God my Rock, "Why have You forgotten me? Why must I walk in gloom because of the oppression of the enemy?"
Like a crushing in my bones, my tormentors taunt me, while they say to me all day long, "Where is your God?"
Why are you downcast, my soul, and why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance and my God.
6 נט 5
For the conductor, Al Tashcheth, of David, a Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.
Rescue me from my enemies, O my God; raise me safely above those who rise up against me.
Rescue me from workers of iniquity, and save me from bloodthirsty men.
For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; fierce men gather against me, not for my transgression and not for my sin, O Hashem.
Without any iniquity of mine, they run and prepare themselves; awaken to help me, and see!
And You, Hashem God of Hosts, God of Israel, rouse Yourself to punish all the nations; show no grace to any treacherous workers of iniquity. Selah.
They return at evening, they howl like a dog, and go around the city.
Behold, they spew forth with their mouths; swords are in their lips, for "Who hears?"
But You, Hashem, will laugh at them; You will mock all the nations.
Because of his strength, I will wait for You, for God is my stronghold.
The God of my loving-kindness will precede me; God will let me gloat over my watchful foes.
Do not kill them, lest my people forget; make them wander by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord our Shield.
For the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride, and for the curses and lies they recount.
Consume them in wrath, consume them that they be no more; and let them know that God rules in Jacob, to the ends of the earth. Selah.
And they return at evening, they howl like a dog, and go around the city.
They wander about to eat; if they are not satisfied, they will stay all night.
But I will sing of Your strength, and I will sing joyously of Your loving-kindness in the morning; for You have been a stronghold for me, and a refuge on the day of my distress.
O my Strength, to You I will sing praises; for God is my stronghold, the God of my loving-kindness.
6 עז 5
For the conductor, on Jeduthun, of Asaph, a psalm.
My voice is to God, and I will cry out; my voice is to God, and He will give ear to me.
On the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my wound oozed at night and did not cease; my soul refused to be comforted.
I remember God, and I moan; I speak, and my spirit faints. Selah.
You held my eyelids open; I was troubled and could not speak.
I considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
I recall my song in the night; I commune with my heart, and my spirit searches:
"Will the Lord abandon forever? And will He never again show favor?
Has His loving-kindness ceased forever? Is His promise at an end for all generations?
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He, in anger, shut off His mercy?" Selah.
And I said, "It is my sickness, the change of the right hand of the Most High."
I will remember the deeds of God; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old.
I will meditate on all Your work, and speak of Your deeds.
O God, Your way is in holiness; what god is as great as God?
You are the God Who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the nations.
With Your arm You redeemed Your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
The waters saw You, O God, the waters saw You and trembled; even the depths quaked.
The clouds poured down water; the skies gave forth a sound; Your arrows also swept across.
The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.
Your way was in the sea, and Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known.
You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
6 צ 5
A prayer of Moses, the man of God. O Lord, You have been a dwelling place for us in all generations.
Before the mountains were born, and You brought forth the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
You reduce man to pulp, and You say, "Return, O sons of man."
For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
You sweep them away; they are like a sleep; in the morning they are like grass that sprouts anew.
In the morning it blossoms and sprouts anew; by evening it is cut down and withers.
For we are consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath we are terrified.
You have set our iniquities before You, our hidden sins in the light of Your countenance.
For all our days pass away in Your fury; we consume our years like a fleeting thought.
The days of our years among them are seventy years, and if with strength, eighty years; yet their pride is but toil and falsehood, for it is quickly cut off, and we fly away.
Who knows the power of Your anger? And according to the fear of You is Your fury.
Teach us to number our days, that we may attain a heart of wisdom.
Return, O Hashem! How long? And relent concerning Your servants.
Satisfy us in the morning with Your loving-kindness, that we may sing joyously and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, the years we have seen evil.
Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your majesty upon their children.
And let the pleasantness of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, the work of our hands, establish it.
6 קה 5
Give thanks to Hashem, call upon His Name; make His deeds known among the nations.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; speak of all His wonders.
Glory in His holy Name; let the heart of those who seek Hashem rejoice.
Search for Hashem and His strength; seek His presence always.
Remember His wonders that He has done, His marvels, and the judgments of His mouth,
O seed of Abraham His servant, O children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
He is Hashem our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
He remembers His covenant forever, the word He commanded to a thousand generations,
Which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac,
And He established it for Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,
Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance."
When they were but a few men in number, very few, and strangers in it.
And they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
He allowed no man to oppress them, and He reproved kings for their sakes:
"Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm."
And He called a famine upon the land; He broke every staff of bread.
He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold as a slave.
They afflicted his foot with fetters; his soul was placed in iron.
Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of Hashem refined him.
The king sent and released him, the ruler of nations set him free.
He made him master of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,
To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
Then Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
And He made His people very fruitful, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
He turned their heart to hate His people, to plot against His servants.
He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
They performed among them the words of His signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness, and it became dark, and they did not rebel against His word.
He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.
He spoke, and there came swarms of wild beasts, and lice throughout all their borders.
He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
He struck their vines and their fig trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
He spoke, and the locusts came, and grasshoppers without number,
And they ate up every plant in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
He struck down every firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength.
And He brought them out with silver and gold, and there was no one who stumbled among His tribes.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
They asked, and He brought quail, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
For He remembered His holy word to Abraham His servant.
And He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with joyous song.
And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they inherited the labor of the peoples,
So that they might observe His statutes and keep His teachings. Halleluyah.
6 קלז 5
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat and also wept, when we remembered Zion.
Upon the willows in its midst we hung our harps.
For there our captors asked us for words of song, and our tormentors asked for mirth, "Sing for us from the song of Zion."
How can we sing the song of Hashem on alien soil?
If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.
Let my tongue adhere to my palate if I do not remember you, if I do not elevate Jerusalem above my foremost joy.
Remember, O Hashem, against the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem, who said, "Raze it, raze it, down to its foundation!"
O daughter of Babylon, who is to be destroyed, fortunate is he who repays you your recompense that you have dealt to us.
Fortunate is he who seizes and dashes your infants against the rock.
6 קנ 5
Halleluyah! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power.
Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His abundant greatness.
Praise Him with the blast of the shofar; praise Him with lyre and harp.
Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.
Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals.
Let every soul praise God. Halleluyah!
Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Hashem returns the captivity of His people, Jacob will exult, Israel will rejoice. And the salvation of the righteous is from Hashem, their stronghold in time of distress. And Hashem helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they took refuge in Him.
Prayer after reciting the ten Psalms of the Tikkun HaKlali
Master of the Universe, Almighty, after we have completed the Tikkun HaKlali, with its ten Psalms, its words, its verses, and its letters, and I have finished reciting it in awe, in fear, in trembling, and in quaking. Grant me the merit, in the merit of having completed all ten Psalms of the Tikkun HaKlali, to hear the sound of the shofar of the right side, to hear the voice of Hashem, "The voice of Hashem breaks the cedars," a voice that does not let one eat or sleep, a voice that purifies the mind and removes all the barriers. Please, Hashem, in the merit of the Torah that preceded the creation of the world by two thousand years, "Because Hashem has anointed me to bring good tidings to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to those who are bound." Grant me the merit to enter the Garden of Eden with my physical body, and to merit the Great Jubilee, to hear the shofar of the Geulah, and the shofar of blessing, and to go out to war, and to break out of all the constrictions, and to bring down all the barriers. Through this, may He Who is awesome in deed guard you with all strength and might. May I merit, through the recitation of these ten Psalms, to purify the air of the world, as it is said regarding Yosef the Tzaddik, 'that minor holy offerings may be eaten wherever one can see up to Mount Hermon,' and this was not the case with any other tribe, nor even in Jerusalem. In the merit of the ten Psalms, let there be no damaging, accusing, or inciting force, and may I only merit pure and clear air. May the verse be fulfilled in me, "And your iniquity shall be removed, and your sin shall be atoned for," and whatever I have sinned will be atoned for me on this day that I recited the ten Psalms of Tehillim. May I merit to be surrounded by a blazing fire, in a flame of fire. Please, Awesome in deed, Worker of wonders, to Whom belong heaven and earth and all that is in them, give me the strength to wait and anticipate Mashiach in every moment and second. I will wait "for the end, and it will not deceive," by the power of reciting these ten Psalms, for "though he may tarry, wait for him; for he will surely come, he will not delay."
