Prayers for the Recovery of Rav Berland shlit"a
Home Gathering in Ashdod at the Wiezman Family

To our sorrow, the tzaddik is currently in the hospital while the masses of the House of Israel pray for his healing. During these hours, on the night of the second day of Shabbat Bamidbar 5779, a prayer assembly is being held at the Western Wall where the public is reciting the entire Book of Psalms. Throughout the day, prayers were held at various locations across the country for the healing of our teacher, the holy Gaon Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, following a message issued on behalf of the Rav calling to increase prayer.
Our teacher the Rav shlit"a was taken to the hospital after not feeling well over the last few days. Matters reached a point where the Rav did not dance at the hilula of Rabbi Shimon in Meron, nor did he deliver his holy words—things he has been very meticulous about over the years.
It should be noted that for a long time now, our teacher the Rav shlit"a has not been in good health, and he exhibits true self-sacrifice until his very last breath for the sake of the People of Israel, going out day and night to the general public. Despite his difficult condition, the Rav shlit"a goes out every day and night for prayers with the public, events across the country, and primarily to deliver words of Torah at home gatherings and public audiences.
We bring before you holy scenes from a public audience held by our teacher, the holy Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, at the home of the Weizman family shlit"a in Ashdod.
