Ribbono Shel Olam – Master of the World, Who can do everything, from Whom no plan is withheld, let me merit to learn in depth the entire Mishnah and Gemara, with Rambam, Kesef Mishneh, Maggid Mishneh, with the Tur, Rabbeinu Chananel, Beit Yosef, and Shulchan Aruch, and fulfill in me the verse, “Even in darkness, a light shines for the upright,” and the verse, “May Hashem bless you from Zion, and may you gaze upon the goodness of Jerusalem all the days of your life.”

Ribbono Shel Olam – Master of the World, Who can do everything, from Whom no plan is withheld, let me merit to attain the best intellect in the world, and to fulfill what is written in Chayei Moharan [end of section 1, 228], that our holy and awesome Rebbe said, “I would have thought that you would all be great Tzaddikim with intellect the like of which has not been known in many generations.” Likewise, it is written in [Likutey Moharan] Lesson 62:2, “It is a great mitzvah to sharpen the intellect in order to understand clearly that which Hashem demarcated as comprehensible to the human mind.” Therefore, let me merit to learn Gemara-Shas day and night and to be the greatest Torah scholar of the generation.

Ribbono Shel Olam – Master of the World, Who can do everything, from Whom no plan is withheld, let me merit to spill out my heart before You, and let me merit to learn Gemara day and night in depth until I merit to a radiant face, as it is written [in Lessons 38, 62, 101], and through this may I merit to shine like a “sapphire stone” – to light from Zion. May I only aspire to the source, the “Flowing stream, source of wisdom” constantly. May I merit to always be complete in wisdom, strength, and beauty.

Please Hashem Echad, Father, Merciful and Gracious One, let me merit to great and awesome fear of You and Rabbeinu at all times, and fulfill in me the promise, “the Land to you as a heritage.” May I merit to see the salvation of the Jewish people in the coming redemption and to believe in You with complete faith, and through this, may I never see a strange woman, God forbid, nor a strange girl, God forbid. May I also merit, like Moshe Rabbeinu, to reveal the bush burning with fire, and to merit to be a firing flame for You day and night.

א רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם כֹּל יָכוֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִבָּצֵר מִמְּךָ מְזִימָה, זַכֵּנִי לִלְמוֹד בְּעִיּוּן כָּל מִשְׁנָה וּגְמָרָא, עִם הָרַמְבַּ"ם כֶּסֶף מִשְׁנֶה מַגִּיד מִשְׁנֶה, וְעִם הַטּוּר רַבֵּנוּ חֲנַנְאֵל בֵּית יוֹסֵף וְשֻׁלְחָן עָרוּךְ, וְיִתְקַיֵּם בִּי הַפָּסוּק "זָרַח 215 בַּחֹשֶׁךְ 330 אוֹר 207 לַיְשָׁרִים" 590 = 1342, וְהַפָּסוּק "יְבָרְכֶכֶם 292 יְיָ 26 מִצִּיּוֹן 196 וּרְאוּ 213 בְּטוֹב 19 יְרוּשָׁלַיִם 596 = 1342 כָּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ".

ב רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם כֹּל יָכוֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִבָּצֵר מִמְּךָ מְזִימָה, זַכֵּנִי לְהַגִּיעַ לַשֵּׂכֶל הֲכִי טוֹב שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם, וּלְקַיֵּם אֶת הָאָמוּר בְּחַיֵּי מוֹהֲרַ"ן [סוֹף חֵלֶק א' סְעִיף רכ"ח] שֶׁרַבֵּינוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהַנּוֹרָא אָמַר 'הֲלֹא הָיִיתִי סָבוּר שֶׁאַתֶּם כֻּלְּכֶם תִּהְיוּ צַדִּיקִים גְּדוֹלִים עִם שֵׂכֶל כָּזֶה שֶׁבְּכַמָּה דּוֹרוֹת לֹא הָיָה שֵׂכֶל כָּזֶה'. וְכֵן כָּתוּב בְּתוֹרָה ס"ב ב' 'מַה שֶּׁהִגְבִּיל הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ לַשֵּׂכֶל הָאֱנוֹשִׁי שֶׁיּוּכַל לְהָבִין הוּא מִצְוָה גְּדוֹלָה לְחַדֵּד הַשֵּׂכֶל לְהָבִין הַדָּבָר עַל בּוּרְיוֹ', וְלָכֵן זַכֵּה אוֹתִי לִלְמוֹד גְּמָרָא שַׁ"ס יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה, וְלִהְיוֹת הַתַּלְמִיד חָכָם הֲכִי גָּדוֹל שֶׁבַּדּוֹר.

ג רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם כֹּל יָכוֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִבָּצֵר מִמְּךָ מְזִימָה, זַכֵּנִי לִשְׁפֹּךְ לִבִּי כַּמַּיִם לְפָנֶיךָ, וְזַכֵּנִי לִלְמוֹד גְּמָרָא יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה בְּעִיּוּן, עַד שֶׁאֶזְכֶּה לְ'קֵרוּן' עוֹר הַפָּנִים, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (בְּתוֹרוֹת לח, סב, קא) וְעַל יְדֵי זֶה אֶזְכֶּה לְהָאִיר כְּמוֹ "אֶבֶן 53 סַפִּיר" 350 = 403, לְ־אוֹר 207 מִצִּיּוֹן 496 = 403, וְ־אַךְ 21 אֶשְׁאַף תָּמִיד אֶל 31 הַמָּקוֹר 351 = 403 אֶל "נַחַל נֹבֵעַ מְקוֹר חָכְמָה", וְאֶזְכֶּה לִהְיוֹת שָׁלֵם תָּמִיד בְּחָכְמָה 75 גְּבוּרָה 216 וְיוֹפִי 112 = 403. אָנָּא יְיָ אֶחָד = 1, אַבָּא = 4 רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן, זַכֵּנִי לְ־פַחַד 92 גָּדוֹל 43 וְנוֹרָא 263 = 403 מִמְּךָ וּמֵרַבֵּינוּ תָּמִיד, וּתְקַיֵּם בִּי אֶת הַהַבְטָחָה 'הָאָרֶץ 296 לְךָ 50 לַאֲחוּזָה' 57 = 403, וְאֶזְכֶּה לִרְאוֹת בִּישׁוּעַת עַם יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּם 43 בַּגְּאוּלָה 47 הַ־קְּרוֹבָה 313 = 403, וּלְהַאֲמִין בְּךָ בֶּאֱמוּנָה שְׁלֵמָה, וְעַל יְדֵי זֶה יוֹתֵר לֹא אֶרְאֶה שׁוּם אִשָּׁה זָרָה חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, וְלֹא שׁוּם יַלְדָּה זָרָה חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, וְאֶזְכֶּה גַּם כֵּן כְּמוֹ מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּינוּ לְהִתְגַּלּוּת הַסְּנֶה 120 הַבּוֹעֵר 283 = 403 בָּאֵשׁ, וְאֶזְכֶּה לִהְיוֹת אֵשׁ לֶהָבָה אֵלֶיךָ יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה
