Yesterday, Wednesday, 27 Kislev—the third night of Chanukah—during the afternoon hours, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, came down to our Beis Midrash, “Shuvu Banim,” to distribute Chanukah money to the supporters and partners of our Beis Midrash.

For more than two hours, close to two thousand people passed by in a steady flow and received the Chanukah money from the holy hands of The Rav shlit"a. The young men and the children who merited to enter together with their father to receive the money were lovingly given a chocolate coin from his holy hand. During those two hours, The Rav shlit"a would sometimes pause to ask someone how he was doing, and to each person The Rav shlit"a greeted them warmly with the blessing, “A joyous Chanukah!” At 16:10, The Rav shlit"a went back up to his home—his holy abode—to prepare for the lighting of the fourth Chanukah candle on the balcony of his home.
