Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Pays a Shiva Visit Following the Passing of His Machutan, the Chassid Rabbi Nosson Zucker zt"l

This morning, The Rav shlit"a arrived to pay a shiva visit following the passing of his machutan, the Chassid Rabbi Nosson Zucker zt"l
Rabbi Nosson Zucker was born on the 26th of Tishrei, 5698 (1937), to his father, the Chassid Rabbi Yechiel Meir Zucker zt"l—who established the first Breslov Chassidim beis midrash in Eretz HaKodesh—and to his mother, Mrs. Esther a"h. When he reached marriageable age, he married the daughter of Rabbi Berel Veltzer zt"l, who served in holiness by the Rebbes of Vizhnitz zt"l in the city of Bnei Brak. He left behind hundreds of descendants—grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren—among them the mashpia Rabbi Yechiel Meir Zucker, and the one who brings joy to hearts, R’ Yanki Zucker of the city of Ashdod. The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, was a machutan with him, and the Zucker family—The Rav shlit"a’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren—are among his descendants. R’ Nosson merited to complete the entire Shas thirteen times. He never missed vasikin prayer, and the awe of Hashem and humility of a true Breslov Chassid were evident upon his face.
In the last year, R’ Nosson became bedridden and did not rise from it. Yesterday he returned his soul to his Creator at the age of eighty-six. His funeral departed from his home in Bnei Brak, and he was laid to rest in the cemetery in Ashdod.
As mentioned, this morning The Rav shlit"a arrived at the mourners’ home on Strasser Street in Bnei Brak, and spoke words of consolation for close to forty minutes. Afterwards, he returned to his home, Neveh Kodesh.
