Rallying for the Many Yeshivos for Our Young Men! Saving the Holy Torah Institutions of Shuvu Banim

At the 'Nechamas Tzion' institutions, they care for each and every young man, ensuring he receives devoted, individualized education. For this reason, a wide range of special frameworks has been established for all students—across levels and ages.

Nechamas Tzion Evening Yeshiva

This framework is intended for the older grades in the Talmud Torah, to make the most of their free time. They gather every evening to learn and review their studies, along with additional learning to broaden their knowledge of the holy Torah, varied social activities, and practical study in the sefarim of Rebbe Nachman zt"l.

Chochmah V’Daas Yeshiva

The yeshiva was founded with the encouragement and blessing of The Rav shlit"a. Without a doubt, one of the community’s precious jewels is the young men’s yeshiva “Chochmah V’Daas.”

Today, 150 students are educated in the yeshiva, learning through three daily study sessions, devoted to in-depth learning, breadth of knowledge, mussar, and halachah.

The yeshiva staff places strong emphasis on personal guidance for every student who struggles, through a team of mentors who accompany the students throughout the entire year.

Each year, the students are tested on hundreds of pages of Gemara as part of the “Netzor Torasi” program. At the end of the year, a certificate ceremony is held with the participation of The Rav shlit"a. Year after year, the examining rabbis express their amazement at both the quality and the quantity of the students’ knowledge.

It should be noted that due to the yeshiva’s constant growth and development, the institution’s administrators “jumped into the water” and took upon themselves the heavy burden of a high rental cost for a spacious and dignified building to house the yeshiva students.

Within the yeshiva, there is also a kollel of avreichim who learn and strengthen the young men in Torah and yiras Shamayim.

The yeshiva is accompanied by an outstanding spiritual team—devoted, professional educators who place their eyes and hearts on the growth of each and every student, like the angel who strikes above a person’s head and says, “Grow!”

Shalheves HaTorah Yeshiva

This framework, affiliated with the “Darchei Chaim” yeshiva in Har Nof, is tailored for students of our community, giving everyone the merit to feel the pleasant sweetness of the light of Torah and mitzvos in an experiential way. Well-known educators speak highly of the holy work of this framework.

Tzama’ah Nafshi Yeshiva

The yeshiva opened its gates under the leadership of The Rav shlit"a at the beginning of the year 5782 (Tashp"b), in a magnificent building on Heleni HaMalka Street that was renovated at great expense by the institutions. The yeshiva has about 30 outstanding young men, and the administration spares no effort for the success of the yeshiva and of the students who aspire to grow in the light of Rebbe Nachman zy"a.

A highlight of the yeshiva is the shiur of Rabbi Yaakov Amzaleg shlit"a on relevant halachos of Shabbos, as well as the halachos of conduct in the home and hashkafah according to the path of The Rav shlit"a.

The institution’s leaders keep one goal before their eyes: the students’ success and the realization of their potential. Therefore, shiurim are given on a variety of topics to provide the young men with broad knowledge in Torah and halachah, along with a Friday-night chaburah. The young men enjoy—and rise higher and higher—in avodas Hashem.

“Connecting in Avodas Hashem” Yeshiva

This yeshiva framework is intended for approximately 40 young men and avreichim—graduates of the yeshiva—who come each day to learn together consistently within the “Daf Yomi” framework. The shiur is delivered by Rabbi Elishiv Gelbard shlit"a with clarity and good taste. In addition, the place hosts enriching social activities for the young men, and special shiurim for avreichim on educating children and shalom bayis.
