Rare Footage: The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Performing Bedikas Chametz

We are publishing rare footage that has reached our desk, in which Morinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit"a is seen fulfilling the mitzvah of "On the evening of the fourteenth [of Nissan], we search for chametz by the light of a candle" on the night of Bedikas Chametz (the search for leaven) this year.
In the footage, the Rav shlit"a is seen together with his grandson and gabbai, R' Naftali Zucker, checking the holes and cracks, exactly as our Sages of blessed memory commanded us.
Even at his advanced age, approaching 90, and despite his health condition, Morinu HaRav shlit"a does not forgo this important mitzvah. With true self-sacrifice, he bends down under the beds and opens the drawers in the closets.
This is despite the fact that just hours earlier, the house had been completely cleaned and scrubbed of every crumb and speck of chametz—aside from the ten pieces [traditionally hidden]. Out of his deep love for the mitzvah, the Rav shlit"a searched for a long time throughout all the rooms of his holy home.
