Rav Daniel Pariente shlit"a - No One Can Speak About Rav Berland shlit"a
All of Corona is Because of This

Rabbi Daniel Freinta shlit"a, Rabbi of the "Or Shimon" synagogue on Yehuda HaNasi Street in Elad, delivers a sharp message regarding the disparagement of Rav Berland shlit"a and the reason for the Corona pandemic.
"Rabbi, what do you say about the fact that people are talking about Rav Berland? And in general, what do you say about Rav Berland?" Rabbi Daniel Freinta shlit"a was asked.
"No person can speak about Rav Berland, all the deeds he performs and everything he has already done. He has brought hundreds of thousands to complete teshuvah (repentance). Who are we to be able to speak about him?"
"The Gemara says, 'Adorn yourself and then adorn others' (Babylonian Talmud, Bava Batra 60b), who are we that we can speak about a great man? We are not even his shoes."
"The acts of kindness he has performed, the teshuvah (repentance) he has achieved, his deeds—who are we to speak about such a man?"
"The entire Corona [pandemic] came from people who are not afraid to speak about Rav Berland! Why do we need these things?"
"We need love, grace, and kindness. It is written, 'They journeyed from Rephidim and arrived at the wilderness of Sinai, and they camped in the wilderness; Israel camped there opposite the mountain' (Exodus 19:2). Why did the Children of Israel go to Rephidim? Because their hands became weak (rafu yadeihem); they fled from there. The tikkun (rectification) was, 'Israel camped there opposite the mountain.' As Rashi explains there, 'As one man with one heart'."
"How do we overcome this thing? Only through concession, to concede and not to speak lashon hara (evil speech)."
"Who are we to speak? This one said, that one said—this is Gog and Magog, this is throwing atomic bombs at one another. What do you care? Sit quietly, live your life; we want baseless love."
