“Rejoice and Be Glad in the Joy of the Torah” — Bringing a Torah Scroll into the Shuvu Banim Beis Midrash: All the Details of the Procession and the Hachnasas Sefer Torah

With Hashem’s help, this coming Tuesday, the 15th of MarCheshvan, a Hachnasas Sefer Torah will take place at the Shuvu Banim Beis Midrash, under the leadership of The Rav, the holy gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.

The beautiful, mehudar Torah scroll will be brought in by the chassidic Rav, R’ Eliyahu Meirav shlit"a, for a complete recovery speedily. He merited to draw close and bring into the great light the generous donors, Mrs. Leah Rachel J’ansh and Professor Michael Mansherov, may they live, and their family, who donated this splendid and magnificent Torah scroll for the elevation of the souls of their parents z"l, and in honor of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a—into the Shuvu Banim Beis Midrash, the main prayer hall under the leadership of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, with great splendor and honor.

Below is the order of the event: At 16:00 — Writing the final letters at the home of The Rav Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

At 18:00 — The procession will set out with a great crowd, with singing and dancing in honor of the Torah, from the home of The Rav shlit"a at 14 HaChoma HaShlishit Street, continuing along HaChoma HaShlishit, Shivtei Yisrael, Shomrei Emunim, Meah Shearim, Ido HaNavi, until the plaza of the prayer hall for continued joy and dancing, and the Maariv prayer together with The Rav shlit"a from the balcony of his home.
