Shiur for Students of Chut Shel Chesed at Home of Rav Eliezer Berland Shlit"a

As is known, Yeshivat Chut shel Chesed was founded by Rav Shalom Arush shlit"a by the instruction of his rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.  The yeshiva over the years has also become a kollel for avreichim.  A portion of these avreichim merited to come to the home of Rav Berland shlit"a for a shiur.

At the beginning of the shiur, the Rav shlit"a spoke about the self-sacrifice of yeshiva students a hundred years ago.  Afterwards, he spoke about the terrorists attacks which have taken place recently, and about the holy bachur Aryeh Shechopek hy"d, who insisted on going to yeshiva in spite of not feeling well.  Likewise, the Rav shlit"a during the shiur asked to pray for the recovery of the injured.  Afterwards, he spoke about Avraham Avinu, that he wanted to be burned and didn't understand why the fire in Ur Kasdim didn't burn him. The Rav shlit"a also spoke about the topic of honoring one's parents regarding finding one's mate.  Afterwards, he said that a man needs to learn Gemara, and if not, he's not called a man, as is brought in the book of the Hesed L'Avraham. At the end of the shiur, the Rav shlit"a spoke about Torah 2 from Likutey Moharan about the "Nukva Depardaska," bringing the words of the Ari in "Shaar HaLikutim" that Miriam and Yocheved drew life to all 600,000 Jews, as it's written "they made the boys live," and that they are the souls of Rachel and Leah who merited to bring to the world the twelve tribes.  After fifty minutes of Torah, the Rav said Kaddish and prayed Arvit with the community from his balcony.
