On Monday, 9 Sivan, young men from Yeshivat "Tzamah Nafshi" under the direction of Rav Yaakov Amzaleg shlit"a and Rav Serayah Vakchi shlit"a entered the holy home of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a for a special shiur.

At the beginning of the shiur the Rav shlit"a gave chizzuk to the young men in the area of holiness, saying that most troubles come about because of blemishing the covenant.  Afterwards, he spoke about the holiness of the home. Afterwards, the Rav spoke about the righteousness of Avraham, saying that even though he had a father like Terach, he merited to be Avraham Avinu, and this is an example to every single person, that even if one's father isn't so righteous, every person is dependent on his own capabilities.  After this the Rav talked about the incident with Achaziyahu and the "Baal Zevuv".  Achaziyahu sent to Eliyahu HaNavi  two sets of leaders of fifty, and both times fire descended from heaven and burned the fifty soldiers along with their leader.  At the conclusion of the shiur, he spoke about the importance of hitbodedut and requested that the young men go out after the shiur to do hitbodedut in the desert until the Maariv prayer. After the shiur, the Rav shlit"a blessed the young men to merit find their marriage partners and all the yeshuot.  After this, the young men went out to do hitbodedut in the Judaean desert as the Rav requested.
